And, a driver can be old and driving an F1 car with the age still showing, what I'm saying is that having a 42 years old guy at the top of his game is different, it raises the bar

@@Heyn_17 He started around 2003 I think and got the championship with Renault ( now alpine) in 2004 and 2005. Then he retired in 2018 (I think) and went into W.E.C. In 2021 he returned (nicknamed 'the rookie' by the new F1 fan generation for being great like Hamilton was in his first season) and is still in the sport. EDIT: jeez I get the joke you probably don't get mine, which is my terrible sense of humour!

I’m 42 and been doing construction all my adult life. As soon as you get on the wrong side of 40 it starts getting more difficult. Your energy levels drop. You start realising you have to eat more healthy. His fitness is next level but even so you start getting aches and pains when you get older that you didn’t have when you were younger. It doesn’t matter how fit you are almost everyone suffers from this.

@@FS-me8mj Max's 2016-2019 RB was in a similar place the Aston/Mclaren are today. 3rd/4th best Car depending on track. Still Won Races and fought for Poles every Year. He wouldn't win any Championships with the Aston but would make it look like a better Car than it is just like Alonso is doing atm.

don't forget,despite the hype around Aston Martin,Alonso's driving a mid/low tier car :/ you can clearly see how their engine providers (Mercedes) are struggling like never before,possibly the worst engine of the last years indeed McLaren performs very well on the same engine but Aston Martin is still missing a wind tunnel and other crucial stuff to help out with aero and such
