It looks like you deliberately change your posture at times throughout the video. Is this on purpose and if so what does it do? Just curious, and Thanks for uploading this video!

Joey, which Vandoren mpc are you on? I badly need to re-face or retire my C** and have considered one. I use the CL4 on clarinet and love it so far.

Ethan V start your trill on the note above what is written on below depending on the marking and or context of the written work... However, if you as the performer are able or given any types of free liberties by all means take full advantage of that to make it your own as it is a great and powerful duty of any artist "to create, not be bogged down on what is simply just written."

Does the silver neck make the tone more brilliant on the sax?

na I think he just got a neck replacement, cause saxophone necks get old pretty fast.

You sound really good! However, I think the trill in measure 31 should start above the note. Everything else was flawless!!

I disagree. Starting a trill on the upper note is generally a Baroque performance practice, not a Romantic one (Ferling was a Romantic oboist).

Very true. Just speculation, my teacher told me to do it above, for some reason, but in that measure only. What you did makes sense, and that's how I had been playing it, because it matches the other trills.

Is their a reason why you have a silver neck on your alto?
