This weekend, Fergus had his first experience with "wheels in the air."
Allen headed out to Disney, OK, to attend an event called "Krawl for the Kids," a charity event to raise funds for Ronald McDonald house. After 3 stops on the poker run event, he chose a route that lead to "disaster." We are actually surprised it hasn't happened before now ...
All in all, Al is physically ok - Fergus however, has some damage that we will likely address with salvage, excess parts; i.e. we may have a "FrankenFergus" soon :). Luckily, the Jeep is still running and we were able to load it on the trailer and bring it home!
We can't thank the off-road community enough! Al was at the event solo, and multiple people helped him, ensuring he was ok, getting other vehicles to help with recovery, offering him water and just generally concerned for his well-being. Thank you!!!!
This set-back won't stop Al - but it may delay a few things we were hoping to do together this summer / fall. That just means Freya will be the star for a bit!
