Hey man I know you haven’t done a laser vid in a while but since you seem pretty knowledgeable on the subject I was wondering if you know of a way you could tell the difference between a 1 watt laser and a 3 watt laser. I was gifted one by my friend, but he says he can’t remember wether it’s 1 watt or 3 watts. It can burn electrical tape and stuff but I was wondering if you know of something that a 3 watt laser can burn but a 1 watt laser can’t so I’ll be able to tell which one it is without an LPM. Thanks in advance!

hey there, yeah its been quite a while. I miss the hobby so much that im really considering getting back into it. okay so their is one way to tell if you dont have a Lpm, I also have a 3W and a 1.1w and i can tell you something my 3 can certainly do that my 1.2 cant, the 3 should be able to ignite an open flame almost instantly on wood without being focused. if your laser sruggles to create an open flame or cant seem to do it then its most definitely closer to 1 watt. hope this helps :)

@@04mach1speed thanks for the info! It seems to be 1 watt as it only ignites wood into an open flame when focused. But yeah I’d love to see some more laser videos from you, I saw your how to mod a green laser video a while back and that’s what inspired me to get into the hobby. Hope you get back into man!
