The Acebeam L17 green seems to be sufficient for the general purpose usage, from the standpoint of lumens/range per $..in comparison to the L19 green. What do you think?

well, the truth is, Green is a cool experience and its incredibly bright, but it really isnt useful for gereral purpose light because green makes it tough to see something specific because it just washes out what youre looking at in Intense green color. its the perfect light for throwing some serious distance and it works for me because i also carry a white light EDC flashlight. so to answer your question, if youre looking for an all around bright flashlight and its the only one youre really going to be using, I would go for the white because its way more useful, but if you already have many lights and you wanna have some fun with something new. Definitely go for the GREEN :)

Howdy, I have the regular white light L17, but I have the green filter for it... do you think the green L17 would have better illumination? I'd like to get a 2nd L17.

Yeah I believe it would have quite a bit more illumination than the same light with a filter because the the emitter itself dedicated to that color only and it wouldn’t have an extra optic to go through. Plus the Green version has a few hundred more lumens than the Regular white so you have even more power right there. I would definitely do it. I have a feeling it will be a huge difference.

I’ve got the Imalent MS03, so I’m gonna get the L17 or L18 I suppose and combine them. Massive 13k lm flood and then this for beam throw

jeez! you have the MS03? talk about arena flood lights lol oh yeah the L17 is a beast, i would personally get the L18 Osram. because that one i believe is 250Kcd which is some serious throw. to put that in perspective, I have the older Klarus G35 which is almost exactly the same specs, 250Kcd and 2000 lumens, but the G35 uses 3 18650s and its fairly large, so the fact that Acebeam can do the same with 2 less batteries and much smaller light is impressive!

What about the L19? I’ve been checking out the 17-19 and seems that 18 is only available as white light. I’m looking for that green beam. 17 and 19 both available in green It seems. I’ve also got an MS03, Rick. Great light especially on the medium settings for lumen to battery last ratio

@@unelectedleader6494 hello, the problem it seems is that their are so many to chose from. but for green, this L17 is a monster. the other greens I have been looking at is the new Manker MK37 and Acebeam L19 like you said, and those are even bigger monsters then my L17 lol

I got the green L19. Absolutely phenomenal. Just be sure to add the 21700 battery to the order as it’s separate. I already some for my Imalent light, but it’s 21700 not 18650 for the L19

How is the visibility of the green light instead of white? Any downsides?

actually green is incredibly visible due to the fact that in the "visible light spectrum'" its at the absolute peak (middle) 555nm is the peak and this L17 is around 525nm so pretty close. but as far as white vs green, Its hard to determine which is more visible. Green light will always have the highest output in a flashlight against any other color because your eyes are more receptive to green. to answer your question though, I honestly feel that green is slightly more visible, but its a different feeling for sure so if you get one, its quite an experience if the output is high enough like this or the new Manker MK37. sorry for the long response, its just sort of hard to answer :)

Hy buddy can anyone see toward this light, I mean can we use this self defence weapon so that no one can move toward us. I see some dazzler laser with wide beam like this flashlight, but they are too much expensive; about $500.

hello. yes this would make an incredible self defense light. because this isnt an actual laser then its relatively safe for shining into an eye of an attacker. personally ive always felt that even hypothetically if you did have a laser then oh well if it damages an attackers eyes. but because this L17 has such a high intensity it really makes for a very affective self defense light. hope this helps. sorry it took so long.

Don't take this the wrong way, but that just looks wrong. It looks fake almost. Like on camera it just doesn't look like it should be real. I don't know how to explain it, it just... looks wrong. Edit: I just realized why, the color doesn't look vibrant enough, at least to the camera. The footage just makes the light look too pastel to me for me to wanna believe it.
