Thanks for posting this. I work for Colorado State University at a research center. We run an f3 gleaner (4 row). Always wanted to get a picture right next to a brand new machine with a 16 row header😂

We still use a k2 gasser with a 4 row ! It does a exceptional job at harvest BUT it will wear you out physically !!!! For real!!

An like Big Mike says that is one good looking combine an tractor an grain cart 👍🇨🇦😁 ps miss old George ,but your brother has filled in very well in his spot . Hope you get to put that Ideal through her paces an let her eat .

Nice drone video, would have been cool to see the Gleaner in 3 row corn instead of just one at a time. Glad to see Squishy is keeping an eye on things at the grain bins.

That long back K2 with a 330 head is the same setup we use on our hobby farm. I can run about 2-2.25 mph in about 175bu corn before the slip-clutches get angry. So yeah, it takes all day to do a 12 acre field w/no cart and trucking with a '72 F600 that holds 250 bu fully loaded.

love the gleaner combines grew up with the C F K L M and N series combines i know gleaner was used a lot on seed corn harvest!!! l will be watchin!!!

We used to run a K2 gas 3.row head. Pull in a 90 acre field and think oh crap will we ever get done. Lol. P S. AGCO GET A S SERIES COMBINE OUT THERE FOR THEM TO DEMO. 👍

That gleaner is soooo cool man not only can you swap the rotor out between crops but it’s seeding a cover crop as it’s harvesting those were way ahead of their time the way the unload auger comes straight up I mean goosebumps I tell ya

When you are in a hurry to get on the carnival ride.

Those K-2s were an impressive little machine had a neighbor who farmed about 1200 acres and ran 2 of them and he was usually one of the first guys around to be done

As a proud deere combine owner I have to say that ideal combine is one nice unit ! It looks like a tank and saems to have a large capacity as well. Fendt has some Nice machines with good features for sure. I'll stick to my deere and case machines for now but I might look into getting a challenger .Nice video stay safe and farm on my friends !

Brian you need to get some RUBBER MATS with the holes in for your grain trucks to dump there load onto, makes less mess (see Larson Farms)

Don't want to get too attached to a farm cat...there one day gone to the neighbors the next. Or it may end up earning its name at any time like the cat at the Welker Farms a few of their videos ago.

Funny to see that the further the day went the more cab corn there was on the 8T, guess it don't matter in the big picture when it comes to yields anyway. Or they are doing it so well they are putting in the human factor in the test already.

Morning Squishy, don't seem worried about harvest activity. Who ever thought of putting a lid on a mug is a GENIUS, so simple but so fulfilling. What year is the Gleaner ?

Almost got our Squishy grain bin cat when I went to turn the dryer off at midnight, she must have been focused on a mouse!

My dad had a K2 he bought new in the late 70's or early 80's.
