Спасибо за обзор, один из немногих кто дружит с головой и додумался без ревера и прочего обозревать, а то нацепляют приблуд непонятно что обозревают

Very usefull vid, great demonstration, thank you very much! The pribora pickups seem to have more dynamics and punch in to them, I prefer them

I just ordered the voodoo bridge pickup for my G&L Tribute. Can't wait to try it out.

Alexander just sold me a set of these Voodoo's for £43 shipped from Russia ! If anyone can find me pickups that cheap that sound this good , I'll eat your hat .

The VOODOO pickups sound much better, they sound like the pickups in my 63 strat with original pickups in it.

Very impressive pickups sound.

I have the Vodoos in my 62RI, great Sound, I have the Red&White in my 57 RI, sound amazing different from stock, and now i think to put the Blues in my 63RI, all why the stock Fender Pickup are not right (some very thin sounding, others to harsh) I have tried also Tonerider´s, But with the Priboras i´m happy (er) so far. And in my 68RI i have the EJ Pickups with Guilmore switch, heaven. (This guitar respond whery well with this set. With the Priboras it's fine, but the EJ´s match the right spot with the guitar.) I have tried for 2 days different pickups (Fender Custom, Toneriders, Seymour) and caps, and pickup hight´s. Not every guitar respond the same way with the same Pickups. But the Priboras can change the sound in a good way.

“Fender pickups “ doesn’t really tell us anything. Are we comparing custom shop pickups, ceramic MIM standard ones, or something like Texas specials? Without knowing that, it’s hard to gauge the sound of the A.P. pickups.

He says in the description they are late 80s USA Strat pickups that are stock pickups.

The Fenders sounded better, but I'm upgrading a Squier which sounds dreadful so I bought a set of Voodoo pickups. I chose Alnico ones. This demo helped, because at least I can tell Alexander makes fine pickups!

@Cj Guy I can see your logic, but I have some logic of my own. In the demo the Fender's sounded better... But.... They cost about four times more than Alexander's pickups. These pickups are going into a bottom of the range Squier as an improvement. Also, I already have a USA Strat, no point having really similar guitar sounds twice from a crapper version

My honest opinion is the Fenders sounded better in this demo.I want to try some of these Pribora pickups.Maybe not this set?

They’re pretty close. I’ve tried lots of pickups and Fender USA American Standard Pickups are pretty hard to beat. This set he is demonstrating sounds more like a Texas Special set then American Standard. I may give one of these a try. It’s a good demo.

I have a MIM standard strat, my pick ups don't sound that good, what pickups are in the one you are playing. I bought a set of Pribola customs but haven't put them in yet.

Whichever Fenders they are, they certainly chime more than the Pribora PUs here.

Hello, great comparison ! How would you compare the Voodoo PUs with the Classic Blues Set? You write "prononced mids" for the Voodoo. Are the Classic Blues brighter ? Thanks a lot for your comments. Cheers.

Thanks! I don't try Classic Blues Set, but i think it little brighter and little more bass, wider sound. Voodoo have a more focused sound.

Voodoo is more MIDs. There is thinner wire. Blues Classic - more powerful, fatter and a more darker sound.

That was a good explanation! I might buy the two of them to try. Could you talk about the other 3 sets for strat. I searched that information on your site but I could not find it.

I have a set of VooDoo's in a maple neck ( fretboard ) Strat, very ":Strat-ey" , as in pleasantly bright & chimey. For @ $60. a set, you cannot go wrong. * I have expensive RIO GRANDE sets in other guitars, and I'm picky - these are a bargain.

Why not? These pickups have cheap price but expensive sound. Made very high quality as the best boutique pickups. If you love not too bright sound with a pronounced middle, it may be a good choice.

@@AlexeyInshakov Что-то меня фон настораживает. Ты ничего такого не заметил? Вот здесь вот, на бриджевом сингле в паузе слышно: Fender на 6:22, Прибора на 6:35. Приборовский звукосниматель явно сильнее фонит.

Алексей Марков они действительно оказались очень близко по звуку. Я бы сказал, что в вуду больше середины, низы и верха немного прибраны.

Great beefy pickups...sound better than any Fender Custom Shop Pickup at three times the cost.nice playing, super comparison...could you do a Tell?

Middle & bridge is stock late 80's, neck is vintage (real or reissue, I don't know)

Seems that Fender's have more wider frequency range and less compressed sound, more air, more natural.
