    Great video Doug. The looper is a pretty good idea and I didn't know you could add effects while playing back the loop. I normally use the looper before playing live for sound checks etc... Thanks for sharing sir. Best wishes 😊😊🎶🎶👍👍

    @@DougBsDigitalDen I did! Very easy to understand. I may have missed it, but I think an important point to make is that by having the looper in the pre position, you're looping the dry signal, thereby letting the effects alter the looped audio rather than being "baked in" to the loop. The advantage being (for example) reverb tails will ring out rather than being cut off when you hit stop. The question is, what is the use case for putting the looper post effects 🤔

    Thanks! About have the Looper in the POST position, one guy said that he uses it during soundcheck. Jonathan @ Casino Guitars uses the Looper in his solo shows. I think it could use some updating for POST purposes, but PRE works perfectly now 👍

    Isn’t there a way to send/receive midi CC commands to the looper. I believe you said it was listed as one of the features in the firmware update. Thanks for the video! 😊

    That is correct, the Release Notes do say that - "Added MIDI CC support for Amp Control jacks, Master Volume and Looper command". I haven't been able to find any more info on this, so I sent a message to Fender about it.

    Another great video Doug. Thank you. One thing I want to be able to do with my TM looper but not sure is possible, is to record a track using one preset, switch to a different preset to overdub without the recorded preset sound taking on the switched preset sound. Am I missing something obvious?

  • @DougBsDigitalDen

    @DougBsDigitalDen

    You can do that, as long as the have the Looper in the POST position. Do a long press on the EXIT button while in Looper mode and you should see if you are in PRE or POST. If you're in PRE, click the footswitch to switch to POST. Record a loop, press PLAY, switch presets, press OVERDUB and put down another track. Thanks for watching!

    I wish I could load or choose brand name speakers to virtually mix in match in amps. Like for the Princeton I could choose from different Eminence or Jensen speakers and/or put a 12 Inch. Just seems like they need more variety of amps. I would even pay for them for a reasonable price. Or maybe I'm missing this as an IR option.

  • @DougBsDigitalDen

    @DougBsDigitalDen

    4 ай бұрын

    There is an IR Loader option, located in the Pro Control app. However, right now it uses a generic Speaker Impedance Curve (SIC), so IRs may or may not sound correct. But sure, if you have OwnHammer, York Audio etc, they can be used right now.

    Is there a way to use looper on mic/line input? I can use looper on instrument input but not mic/line.

  • @DougBsDigitalDen

    @DougBsDigitalDen

    Ай бұрын

    Yes you can use the Looper for the Mic/Line input, if that is the only input on your preset. If you're using 2 signal paths with both the Mic/Line and Instrument inputs being used, the Looper will default to the Instrument input.

  • @noponder

    @noponder

    @@DougBsDigitalDen Doesn't work for me. I have the mic/line series only in the signal path, no instrument input in parallel with it. Looper says recording but doesn't play. The tuner doesn't work for mic/line either. If there is another setting I missed let me know. I tried everything I could think of.

  • @noponder

    @noponder

    I reached out to Fender. This is what they said. To use the looper with the mic/line input, you'll just need to have your preset setup with one of the Instrument+Mic/Line Mix signal path types. The tuner can be enabled for the mic/line input by pressing the Mic/Line button on the bottom right corner of the tuner display (the font will light up blue when the tuner is enabled for a given input).
