It sounds good and not surprised about the quality control of the Squire necks... Squire IS the new Fender...2nd string squad making it happen for sure.

IDK but my friends squire jazz bass has a warped neck, he brought it in to get it fixed, and they said "all you can do is buy a new neck"

@@kushking420You can defret it and replane the fretboard, which is more expensive than a new neck and not worth it at all for a squier, or you can try externally straightening it by clamping the neck
0:28 GOD BLESS THE ONE SPEED!
Flat out impressive how good this bass sounds. Just ordered one for my nonprofit - looking forward to giving it a spin! On a side note, many moons ago when I heard Fender was pulling the plug on their Japan factory, I picked up a Japanese Foto Flame P Bass. I yanked the frets, installed some Quarter Pounders, a Leo Quan Badass bridge, replaced the tuners, ditched the pick guard, added a set of Thomastik-Infeld flatwounds and it has been my 'number one' bass ever since.
I’ve had good luck with my Indonesian made Squiers. I have a feeling they have better QC at the factory there. I got my Squier P at a pawnshop for 40, decided to teach myself how to tint necks so I sanded mine tinted it and went ahead and added a Fender decal and some wipe on poly and some flat wounds.
Thnx for your service to us real bass players
Just the review I was looking for...I have the same mean green Squire machine... still working on some fret buzz, but digging it so far...
Get bro! Da Bully Bass🤟🏽
Sounding nice Bully!
That's a cool bass. That green P would look (and sound!) awesome with a Jazz pickup in the bridge position
One of the ways i make my P-Basses my own is i order a clear pick guard and put a glitter scrapbook paper behind it. That green is a goid color for something like that 👌
Haha, glad you ended up getting it! I ended up picking up a Fender myself... foreshadowing for another Bass Hang????!!!!
I just bought this bass. I changed the strings to flats, and I changed the pickups for a set of Bass Lines. An excellent instrument for the money. I paid $209 for the bass. I’m very happy with my purchase. And that green. I tell people it’s made out of kryptonite.
Looks like the bottom end of squier was brought up a notch with the sonic line. As a guitar player, I think this might be a the bass for me to get acclimated to playing bass.
GOOD JOB
Nice smooth sound and it appears that it is fast for you playing the grooves. Very Fender sound and looks. How light is it?
Hi, I stumbled upon this video last night while researching the bass that I’m gonna soon buy(my first one!!) and I wanna say I loveeee the way you play. I’m mesmerized by it! Hopefully when I progress I can get to where you are. I was asking, what song are you playing? I would love to learn it.I feel in love with the melody!
Been playing bass 40 years. And I bought one and I have to say it’s an amazing bass. It’s built solid, and the pick ups are a bit hot and in your face but that’s what I wanted. You don’t need to spend big money anymore for a great playing and feeling bass. If your on the fence about it but it!!!

You are right. Mine is pretty good and qualifies as a "real" instrument. Don't know about the quality control though. Love the light weight that makes it a good working horse.

I wish they made a bass this good when I started playing! Lol. When I started it was basically plywood with strings

Great beginner bass
Green twinsies 💚
Nice sound man, you think it's a good enough entry bass or is it better to buy Classic Vibe series? I just don't want to get discouraged because of bad quality
These have been sold out for a couple of months now. Looking to buy one if/when they are back
I see that gibson in the background...you gonna do a video on that?
Just a heads up that they're back in stock and I finally got one.
Green screen bass!
Arizona says. Whats up
You're gonna hate this , but that might look good relic'ed. And why cannot fender put the dark wood fret boards on some colors they'd look at home on , and like this one, I think maple wood even out the neon green imo. Sounds good though .
This was the straw that broke the camel's back. At this time the Limited Edition/Musician's Friend Surf Green Sonic Precision is $40 off regular price! (no association with them!) I've been wanting another P for flat wounds. 😋

Yeah I just ordered the Surf Green Precision bass. Great deal. 👍
Are the sonic series better or below the affinity series? (Or are they the new affinity)?

This is the same neck pickup on affinity. The affinity has a bridge pickup, sonic does not.

Price wise they are the most inexpensive offering from Squier.
Pretty singy, one would like to chime in.
Sorry to be that guy, but just thinking you might be missing hits due to the misspelling of Squier in your title...
I'm proud to be a part of the nation of bassists! 7:18
It's sad that fender sold their soul to the devil and makes these expensive pieces of s*it. but you can get a squire and it sounds great
