I have this same exact one. This is my main Bass. This thing blows me away, each time I play it. 😂

I bought one 2 years ago and can't say enough good about it. I gig with it regularly. Cheers
This is new color for player plus jazz bass 2024 ?
That’s how you do a bass review!! Actually playing to show off the attributes of the guitar and not a bunch of slap bass and I like slap bass lol

Note that the neck radius specs are 9.5” radius not 12” - unless that is a typo from Fender.
I have a question Dan. Ive been playing Bass for almost 2 years. That first song you played, and the tone. For some reason your tone sounds much different than mines. Could it be the amp im using? Im using a Bugera 15" combo amp. I'm trying to get that same tone. To me it reminds me of the music man stingray tone. Could it be my tone settings?
Dan, what would be the differences in Tone, when it would come to playing garage/punk rock, vs a P Bass?

More scooped mids on the JB, cuts the mix better. PB sits in the mix more softly but its mids can be harsh if it's loud in the mix (see : 90's Rancid or Bad Brains for cut-throat JB tones)

It works on passive, but you lose control of several of the knobs. No EQ.
Dan, you naughty fella! Didn't I say this morning, how I liked your natural soft, grey hair...? 😂😂❤❤❤🌈😹

Hi, thank you for your comment. I do try to get a good balance of bass along with a song track, demo drums and, like this video, a solo section too. It's a hard balance to strike as everyone would like to see something different - which in itself, isn't a bad thing right? We're all different and want for different things! I'll see what I can do in future videos whilst not making them too long and still include all the details. :)
