Dagan makes the best demos! Another plus for this model is the 9V battery. 5 years down the road it will still be functional unlike the American model.

My thoughts aldo : I would never buy a guitar with a battery that cannot be replaced by myself ! An instrument should last longer than a smartphone !

Also, you can carry a spare and swop it in if needed at a gig, unlike the American version. Presumably it will take a rechargeable battery?

Also the Player version has 'Lo-Fi' output setting which is the unaffected sound from the saddle piezo pickup. If you already own an external acoustic guitar processor, you can use it with the Lo-Fi output to model the sound. The American Acoustasonic does not provide any unaffected output option, all options are pre-modeled within the guitar itself, so you cannot use any other external processor to model the sound.

You can buy a replacement battery for the American version. ..and it sits in a cover on the back of the guitar, same as the 9v version. It's just two wires that go to it like any other battery pack. Would be easy to wire up a replacement as long as you use the same 'values' ie voltage. Maybe even covert it to 9v? I'm actually *more* worried about the electronics not lasting.. when I think about the three amps that have died on me and the endless list of advertised amps and bits with failed electronics, it makes it scary to drop big bucks on one of these. Buying a nice MIA Strat or Solid wood acoustic and ageing is on your side instead!

Finally someone who makes a good presentation of the electric side of the guitar, because that was important for me, I already know a lot about the acoustic sounds. THANKS. Love your guitar presentations. Love that guitar and think I need to order one

Sound just found & followed your link m8. Rosewood fingerboard & bridge which is a personal favorite of mine, along with artic white🤍 & brushed black 🖤 color options which are also great for that ☯️ factor. "And 🎵 all priced at about about a bag of sand💰🎵” As well as just in time for🧑‍🎄 Nice one😃

you can get a NUX atomic Air acoustic IR loader and have many extra acoustic sounds in the piezo mode- so for a bit more you can have lots of sounds, like the American version, just much cheaper.. Im waiting for the Jazzmaster Mexican!

Now within reach of my wallet. Take my money Fender! The new MIM Fenders are killing it at the moment. My player plus Nashville Telecaster is a monster guitar. Life is good 👍

I like these but the first issues were to pricey.

I think I'd rather put my money towards Fender's Player Plus Nashville Telecaster and have full electric with 3 pups. I'd save me almost 200.00 for a case and maybe a case of beer, too.

Nothing new under the sun ,i had an early Strat acoustasonic, and at best it was medicore. Hopefully these new versions are more capable, but they will never replace a true acoustic or Telecaster. If you want a hybrid sound, these will give you that, but they are expensive.

Just don't drop your pic inside it

I would not buy one of these because if the PCB inside it develops a fault then I highly doubt it will be able to be readily repaired and then it is a piece of junk. Only time will tell how durable these guitars are.

They did not break new ground. The Taylor T5Z is way beyond these in all aspects

Should you have got a more traditional Fender color⁉️ You mentioned this several times Dagan, yet you' failed to say what the other color options are you spacehead....🙄 Plus is that an ebony fingerboard & knobs on that Player Acoustasonic (they seem much lighter in color & without the ebony striping which the USA model's seem to have). Oh yeah one last thing Dagan, you failed to mention perhaps the most important factor when it comes to that new guitar...what's it going to cost💸 You've got to take it easy with that nail polish 💅 remover mate, it's like sniffing glue🤯....space's you right out so remember to keep a window open🪟😃
