Calves need weaned off the cows so let's drive them to the Corrals, say goodbye to the NorthEast Pasture for the year, and sort the cows out!

I have seen them weaned several different ways over my working life , but without a doubt, in my humble opinion fence weaning is the least traumatic and most successful on both cattle and humans. Greetings from Queensland, Australia.

Hi! I'm curious, how many calves did you wean that day? and how long did it take you to separate all the calves from their mother? Btw thank you for explaining everything in such detail!

What a beautiful sunrise. It's been about 40 yrs since I've been that way. Loved the early morning cries of the cattle. Love that even though you had to check on the cattle, church is a priority in your life. May God bless you and may you be warm thru this coming winter season. As a new subscriber do you bring your cattle in closer during the winter or are they just left out on the range?

Would you care for a little cheese with that whine about being cold???🤣 I get you brother, lived in it my entire life and I'm talking north and a bit to the west of you. Started going south for the winter a couple years ago. Sooo much better, but I'm also only able to with being retired! Love sorting on foot, but it's much more fun a horseback, good job youngster. Do you get the night calving shift??? Pretty sure it isn't Pops.😁

we’re getting used to colder temps now lol. a lot of times you’ll see us sort at the house horseback but the north corrals are a little tougher cuz gates up there are chain latch. we each calve out our own
