On one hand, you're right. In the other hand, this is where the feminist movement was going. Two hundred years ago Simone de Beauvoir said that one is not born a woman, a woman was something you become. "Traditional feminists just got off at an earlier train station. The Trans folks are still on. 😬🤷‍♀️

They definitely need to put some rules in place around this issue. For example, if you’ve only transitioned in the last year, you shouldn’t be able to compete in women’s sports. That’s a very broad example and I see why no one wants to be the one to put requirements around it, but to let it go on the way it is, ludicrous.

This has nothing to do with me too. And a couple decades ago white women where "uncomfortable" with black women in their bathrooms. And now those some people that would have done that back a couple decades ago do the same in regards to trans women.

I would still call myself a feminist, but much of feminism became maximally problematic at the point where "woman" became something "non-exclusive" that everyone can be and become at will, and many are no longer able to To define “female”. Of course men can be feminists too, but men cannot be women and as a result feminism has lost its focus in many places and really important issues are now ignored by feminism. What do I mean by “really important issues”? Men and women are physically different and these differences are potentially life-threatening for women in everyday life. The first example is seat belts in cars, which are tested on dummies, I mean 1.75m tall, weighing about 70kg, broad shoulders, just about an average man. When women are involved in traffic accidents, their injuries are, on average, significantly more serious than those of men. There are now "women's dummies" which, depending on the country, do not have to be used in the registration of car models, so there are no mandatory safety tests with the women's dummies and the "women's dummies" simply do not correspond to the body an average woman, but are in fact nothing more than smaller men, i.e. male teenagers. The dummies are not adapted to the shifted center of gravity in women, even the breasts are simply left out and the joints (particularly the hips/pelvis), which are often greater in women, are missing. That's why the tests don't produce accurate results. The absolute majority of medicines have never been tested on women. Even in preclinical studies on laboratory animals, only male animals are usually used because female animals are more “complicated”. This refers to the hormonal cycle that all female animals are subject to in their own way, in the course of egg production, just like menstruation for us women. But the fact is that all of these things influence the effect. To adapt dosages to women, it is not enough to simply give women less depending on their height and weight. Women are not just smaller men! Women die, especially in the morning hours, when they take sleeping pills because they last longer on women, and then women fall down stairs or fall asleep while driving. Everything could have been avoided with better studies. What I find so terrible about it is that on these women's gravestones you could literally write "She died because she was a woman." And that's not something women can change individually through personal responsibility. They cannot change these biological conditions in their bodies. Being a woman is not a costume that you can put on and take off as you please. Being a woman is not a shame, women are not the worse sex. But yes, being a woman is something exclusive and only half of humanity is part of this group of people. By the way, what is also part of "gender-specific medicine", which includes the demand for studies on women, are the differences in the symptoms of various diseases and men would clearly benefit from this. Heart attack is a disease that affects men much more often, which is why the textbook symptoms are the male ones, with chest pain radiating to the left arm. Women are often more likely to experience heart attacks than upper abdominal or back pain. This is why heart attacks in women are often not diagnosed or are diagnosed too late, which is why women die of heart attacks more frequently than men. Examples of "women's diseases" that are often not correctly diagnosed in men are osteoporosis or depression or bladder infections. But there are “feminists” who do not want to address these issues, describe these demands as transphobic and simply deny the differences between men and women. This really makes me angry.

@@NatiAt430 If feminism would finally do this on a large scale, not so many conservatives would be annoyed by feminism anymore, because such problems that actually exist for women can be understood by people who are gifted with a logical mind. They are real and therefore understandable and not purely emotionally based, but based on numbers, facts, data, measurements, many of which are even international. That is equality, that is fairness, that is justice. I don't want to be treated better than a man, but when I drive a goddamn car, I want these built-in safety systems like airbags to be just as safe for me as they are for men. And by the way, no man I have ever told about this has ever even tried to talk me out of it, but on the contrary, they have willingly supported me. This was the problem, none of these men (nor any woman I told this to) knew this beforehand, they were extremely surprised and a few seconds later, after they had understood the extent of the problem, they were shocked and horrified.
