This hit home!! I have teenage daughters that laugh about my voice shift when I talk to my husband. All of a sudden my voice becomes very feminine. My daughters thought I was doing this on purpose, trust me I had no idea. His masculine presence just puts me in princess mode and the kids caught it!

My voice has definitely gotten softer sand more feminine since i got married and quit working a competitive 9-5

My voice changes with who I"m talking to.. One thing I've noticed is my voice sounds inauthentic when I talk to my parents, almost like I"m someone else, more child like. I noticed how my voice gets very soft and feminine when I'm talking with a man I'm attracted to.

When I was rotational dating, a man told me that fact that men perceiving the sound of a woman’s voice as music! He said his attraction for me spiked after we sent a few voice memos to each other before meeting for our first date. So interesting. That was after doing a lot of inner work. In high school, I struggled with the frog voice. I was super insecure about it and constantly cleared my throat. I’m so glad I’m past that stage.

I noticed my masculine voice the other day when I was stressed and I love that you are speaking on it. As an east coast girl, it’s very common here.

I remember my first true love always talked about how my voice soothed him like music. I was definitely more in my feminine back then because I didn't have the pressures I have today.

Thank you so much for this explanation!! I did my healing and my voice is so soft spoken now! About a year ago my son said, “mom, your voice is different”. I told him I didn’t even really notice. I used to be in such high stress and protective of myself! I used to get trigged & yell to defend myself. I can’t even yell anymore. All that energy cleared. Anger & rage gone! My husband even notices my voice is so much softer! For me, the healing made me not care about things like I used to. I just don’t have the energy to argue or yell at people. I legit ignore the triggering situations. Healing has done wonders! 🙌🏽 The control & the power I have now is a blessing!

Yes, it’s called “vocal fry”, that froggy voice. The Kardashian style of speaking, it’s a whole social phenomenon and I’ve heard it’s very damaging to the vocal cords.

My voice is one of the things men compliment most about me!

I love this. My daughter speaks so softly and takes her time to think of what she wants to say and sometimes in my masculine energy I have a hard time and I have noticed myself conditioning her out of it 😩🫠 yet when I was with my ex my voice would change . I need to figure out how to single parent without my constant masculine voice. Speaking softer definitely gets children to do more for you.

My man always tells me how my voice calms him down

When I hear my voice in recordings, I think I sound like a nasally child. 🙈

On the phone people always think I'm a 14 year old girl. It's so unbecoming, I want a soft, feminine voice that's actually sultry lol, not child like! Help us Mina 😂

This is so true MINA. I’ve been doing inner work recently and all the trauma stored in belly is releasing following with burps etc. my belly feels softer and I can sing fluidly and my voice appears so much feminine rather than harsh and strong. I resonate with everything you say MINA I’m so glad to have come across you. ❤❤❤❤❤

Oh God, i had this voice change phase when i dealt with the trauma like 2 years ago....and interesting thing is after dealing with this trauma and voice thing is actually when I found you ! And the most bizzare thing is, when I got my feminine voice back, people mocked me for that but they also do the things i ask them to do in the next second ! 💅🧿🍀❤️💘

I love these videos about voice and feminine communication! Such great ways we can work on our inner work starting with the thing we use the most, our voice. A lot of people studied Marilyn Monroe’s voice and related it to her deep family issues

It’s true, when I was at my lowest for a few years I had a valley girl California accent when I was really from Queens NY. Once I started doing my inner work, my guy friend said my voice is actually neutral with no accent and very calming and fem.

As European, I noticed that this frog thing is characteristic for many american women

Is it about staying in your heart space? Staying present while speaking? I notice more and more lately when I am inside or outside my body and have realized it’s because of anxiety. I think you are right, it’s tied to trauma.

The voice thing has been on my mind heavy for the last two years. I wanted to start a podcast and HATED my voice… it sounded so deep and masculine and never used to sound like that! It has been getting better since I have been on my journey but I look forward to the day it is an afterthought.

My voice changed as soon as I quit my job and stay home to care for kids and home but at times due to stress and pressure I raise my voice a bit 😢

This happened to me today . I wanted to yell and I said it but somehow I remained calm I have recently healed in other areas of my life and I realized that the higher self is within me and I can literally decide to chose how u show up and respond . I think my family is actually listening to me . I never had any of those symptoms in my throat but I would talk a lot louder to the point I felt my heart rate go up . But I realized, it’s done like there’s nothing to fear god has it all played out there’s no reason to yell and argue and get aggressive . I also realize that when u let people talk they feel calmer and will b more open to hear YOU . So from the beginning we have to set the tone ! Like literally !

Omg yes!!!! I’ve noticed this childlike voice in my sister and it makes it hard to connect with her when she talks like this!

Yeah, I notice it so often that my words are misunderstood especially when I speak something with lots of feelings, caring and assurance for the person infront of me; it sounds odd to them as I can clearly notice from their reaction. Rather when I speak to anyone with no emotion whatsoever, nothing, completely detached; I get positive response; they listen to me be it a male or a female. When you said that word "grounded" its the correct word. I was so desperate to rectify my speech that I thought of watching videos of how to do acting, voice modification, etc crazy stuffs

So if a man is receptive to the “frog voice” or “baby voice” then that could be a clue he’s not healed or maybe comfortably fem or predatory ? But I guess his voice would be off too. Super interesting video …never noticed the frog effect before now I know 😬. In the 90s they said little girl voice meant s/x abuse growing up and they got stuck at that age

Okay something I noticed that goes hand in hand on with this: my HANDWRITING has a masculine & feminine side!! If I’m stressed, my handwriting is different even if I’m consciously trying to write slowly & nearly!

Hearing this was on time for me. I have a very soft feminine voice that men seem to love but I don't know why, I thought I sounded weak. You're not going to believe this but I actually looked up videos to help me put more bass in my voice and I end up sounding like a frog!!! Lol! I do want to learn to have a stronger affect in certain settings, like in business, but I will appreciate what I have now. And yes, Kim K has it and it gets worse by the end of the most recent season. I hear it too and I was wondering why she sounds like that and now I know there's something to what I'm hearing! I think Kim will get better. I think Kourtney s healing journey may help her if they're able to mend their differences.

Trauma? Sexual abuse? Mina said she's not a good fit for women with little girl voices and that they would need therapy first. That might be where you need to start.

I get it! Very interesting! But! What if you naturally have a heavier sounding voice? I’m a classically trained vocalist, but I do speak in my lower register out of laziness/comfort. What should I do?

You really cant *change your natural deep voice, it's unique. Use it to your advantage 😉, I do too have a naturally deep voice always have my whole life. It's being confident in it not being self conscious about it, and naturally you'll sound more feminine.

She speaks very slow and soft.

Adult people with baby voices make me run away 😂 and the bombardment of ads/TikToks with vocal fry is a turn off for me. Even if the product is good, I cannot stand it.

On the topic of voices. I hope in the future you consider narrating the audio for your new book. I downloaded it on audible and I’m not a fan of the narrators voice.

The frog voice is called "vocal fry." I find vocal fry and nasal voices so off-putting that I am unable to listen to the person; it sends my anxiety sky high. Interesting video!

If a man have a feminine voice i run. I always assume they are gay but no.. The other freaky thing is AI voices, i just can not watch a video having that. The raspy 🐸 voice is quite an American thing while East Asians sound 5 year old on purpose. It has embodied and disembodied versions too. Interestingly Mina's voice isn't that nice either. Feminine but not clear. An open 5th chakra voice is rare and hypnotic (men and wonen too) and gives you a feeling of peace and safety. Probably we can not be evil with open upper chakras.
