Strangely, in Vocaloid, this only seems to be with producers. Most of the artists (animators, PV artists, etc.) I've noticed are women, which is pretty cool!

Maybe it's just me, but while most famous Vocaloid producers are guys, a lot of the cover artists who sing popular Vocaloid covers are girls. REOL, Raon Lee, 96Neko, Rachie, JubyPhonic, Lollia, Ado, Lizz Robinett, etc. Heck, Asami Shimoda (Rin and Len's VA) has an entire album of her just singing covers of popular Rin and Len songs.

Hinayukki has such beautiful songs. She also tunes Kaito as KAIKO and she sounds beautiful.

also can i add ferry. idk if ferry's pronounce are she/her or she/they, but ferry writes from a female perspective in russian. ferry's from Belarus and is famous for "punch it, punk!" and "hardbass night" and also cillia, she's more of a cover artist and works as a tuner a lot, but has a bunch of iconic vocaloid/utau songs :)

Cillia is legendary and that I very much agree with, but as much as I would've loved to see her here I think it's because she's only ever done 2 originals and the last voicesynth thing she did was... a year ago, I think? I love her tuning but I feel like she wanted to silently leave the Vocaloid community to work on L2D models, which is what she currently does.

My favorite female vocaloid producer has honestly gotta be Kururingo! She had made some killer bangers throughout her time in the community. “Jessica” & “Daruma-san ga Koronda Ki ga Suru” are still two of my favorite Vocaloid songs of all time, and I still get chills whenever I watch any of her reuploaded music videos because her freaking art style is amazing!

Yesss, Kururingo fans out there! She also illustrated her songs, and the style goes so well with the music, so unique. I think "Punishment Game" is a very popular song of hers, I've seen tons of fan clips on it, within numerous fandoms.

If you do a part 4, I hope GHOST is on there. They were the first vocaloid producer I was invested in. Plus, you get to put “Industrial Catholic Bugcore” in as a genre

You might or might not already know this, but momocashew is Mili's lead singer too! I was pretty shocked when I was playing through Deemo and went "wait, the singer in this cool band is the one who made all those famous Oliver songs?!" If you're not faMILIar, you should go check them out! All their songs are bops, and they also did tracks for other games like Limbus Company and Ender Lilies too!

I was part of a staff for a convention in south Georgia called Tiger Con. We have worked with Empath-P (VA for Diana) a number of times. Aki is such a sweetheart and her passion for running concerts is unmatched! She even designed/created a model for our character mascot "Tora" for the convention so that she can dance and sing with the vocaloids during the show! Shes straight up 🔥 shes going to run our vocaloid concert this year aswell!

Damn, I had no idea so many Vocalo-P's were actually female! Also, I know that she only ever made 2 originals and almost doesn't do voicesynth stuff anymore, but honourable mention: Cillia a.k.a. Kyaami. She might be almost exclusively a VTuber&L2D model maker now, but she had some of, if not THE most legendary tuning skills in the Vocaloid community's history, can also sing and draw. I sound delulu as I say this but I really hope she posts some more voicesynth content someday.

I've always thought it was weird there weren't many female Voca producers, since most of the fanbase is (at least in the west), I hope we get to have more diverse artists around ^^

If you make another one of these you should add PEPOYO. She’s had at least one song get really big (Rakuraku Anrakushi) and have a really neat style and poignant songs about difficult subjects. They primarily use their own utau but also Miku and VY1

Very happy to see Wonderful Opportunity on one of these videos. They’ve made many of my favourite Kagamine songs, and are in my eyes some of the best when it comes to using them. Other songs I recommend from them are Positive club vs Negative club, TV show now, and, Right brain Left brain. They’ve got loads of albums check them out! Might I recommend doing a video specifically on Non-Japanese producers? Hearing about producers from other places is always super interesting. Maybe you could include people like Ferry (although I’m not sure they use any of the cryptonloids 🤔)

She's not really a Vocaloid producer, BUT, she is an artist who has worked with many Vocaloid artists. She's done the illustration for 4 DECO*27 albums, (Lovegazer, Sou Ai Sei Ri Ron, Aimai Elegy, DECO*27 2008-2012 VOCALOID COLLECTION), she did the PV and illustration for many DECO*27 songs such as "Stickybug," "Torinoaiuta," "Ai think so", "More Than You, Less Than Me," and "Boku no Namae wa" among others. She also did the PV for the Kuwagata-P songs "Kimi no Taion" and "Puzzle." I think she has also done many more PV's for Kuwagata-P. She did a collab with Koyori, who is known for making the song "Hitorinbo Envy." She works with origami and paper mache with a collage art style and she has very wonderful and intricate art. Not only that, but she also designed some official Project Diva modules. Specifically the one used for "Kimi no Taion," and the "Patchwork" module used for "Puzzle." Now, who am I talking about? Well, I'm talking about *Ryono!*

A personal fave of mine is kaya, she was part of the duo Glint of Sound along with shu-tP, who is famous for Change Me with Meiko. Some of their most famous songs are Various Feelings and Cradle of Destiny. Sadly, she passed away in 2016. Definitely check her music out, especially if you’re a Meiko fan.

The first female producer I thought of was Pepoyo and I‘m pretty surprised she‘s not on the list, given her popularity! She may not be very well known within the English community, but she wrote the euthanasia song, which became huge thanks to the animation memes and stuff.

This is so cool! Thanks Minnemi. I personally love Oster Project myself. Her music is so,so good, I really like jazz. Her music has had a bit impact on me and is one of the reasons I've stuck with vocaloid. Would you mind doing a vid on vocaloid producers who don't make music anymore? For example apfel note doesn't anymore and they made one of absolute favourite songs.

I like to think that the reason why so many vocaloid songs need a ridiculously high range is because of male producers not caring about the average women voice range and just composing the songs with their range on mind and making the vocaloid sing it an octave up lol

hitoshizuku, hinayukki and jesus-p are some of my favorite vocaloid producers EVER they only make bangers you guys (and hinayukki is so underrated... it's so sad)

Another one is Shokobai Phantom girl. She released one song that a lot of people know bc of a Fukase cover but other thn that is.pretty underrated which is sad because all her songs are bangers.

@@HajoonFF6123 A circle, in Japanese fandom terms, is a group of people who release something independently, said thing often being a fanwork of something (e.g. a doujinshi, a fangame, a fansong or an arrangement of some OST), though circles that release entirely original stuff do exist. A music circle, as this is the type of circle we're talking about here, usually consists of some musicians (instrumental and/or vocal) and someone who works on the music videos. The best example of a circle in the Vocaloid fandom is HoneyWorks.

Thanks. Kashii Moimi is my favorite vocaloid producer, I'm glad she included in here. All of her songs is so good, I especially recommend Hatsukoi Nikki. Isekaijoucho, Aitsuki Nakuru & Kotoha sang a cover of it. I make some playlist of her works & vocaloid songs. I hope you can listen to it, and give her much much much love 💜💜💜

Don’t forget about QueenPB!! She’s a pretty new producer (I think her first song was in 2019) but she makes some catchy English vocaloid songs. She also mainly uses Hime MEIKA which I like because she’s so underrated.

It would be cool if you did a video for nonbinary/gender non-conforming producers too!! I can think of a couple eng producers like Vane and Ghost (although they mainly use SynthV's lately) and I think Crusher is nonbinary as well! There's def more I just can't think of them at the moment :'D

​​@@AnimeditzVNo. I mean yes, he was also accused of that, but Oster recently made a song with two child-like characters depicted in suggestive situations. One of them is shown naked on bed covering hersef with a blanket, while the other reaches out to her, if I remember correctly. There is also a shot where they are lying on each other, in clothes, but this might be viewed as suggestive in context of the other scene. These two characters are actually Zundamon (ageless) and Kasukabe Tsumugi (18 years old), but the way they are drawn in this PV makes them look like little children and it disturbed some people and made them think that Oster Project is a lolicon. There were a lot of people on Twitter talking about this, being dissapointed about Oster, or even if you look at comment section under the song there's a lot of them there as well. The song is called Zun Tsumuteetee!

I actually really wished this video existed so thank you so much!!!
