Yeah, that's the problem with SynthV and Cevio imo. They try so hard to be "realistic", but since none of the voicebanks have any personality, it just becomes super uncanny... Luckily Vocaloid 6 does a better job at this.

I love how well-known voicebanks can sometimes have multiple voicebanks on multiple vocal-synths. Gumi for example, not only got an A.I. Voicebank (which has my favorite Gumi design ever. She looks so pretty and cute what the heck), but she still got a Vocaloid6 voicebank. It gives more people options on how to use her voice and it also is showing love to multiple voice-programs.

Maidloid isn’t a synthesizer though… it just has .wav files of moans and other sounds on a fancy looking program. Kinda like potagoe but with moans. Also, just as a side note, ace studio did release in 2022, but ace virtual singer (the first version of ace) released in like 2018-2020 I think

@@foocha I didn't interpret her as being 1, I interpret her "1?" age meaning that she is between 10 and 19, that you can decide what age she is specifically since it's unknown... Which should not be something you should decide really. Characters for adult content shouldn't be able to be minors.

You forgot a very famous one, is Loquendo!!! Maybe here in english talking community not that well known, it was created by an Italian company in 2001, but it was discontinued (although nobody cared about that since the mouths are distributed mostly in unofficial pages/programs) it is TOO KNOWN in the Hispanic community so much that it has had a BIG IMPACT in the Hispanic community. But it's mostly for memes and absurd things. It was widely used in the 2010s, Its most popular voice is "Jorge", maybe y'all here know it for the meme: "top 10 scariest jumpscares" also is well known for the "Loquendo City" videos, creepypasta videos and GTA SA parodies videos. :)))

Suprised you didn’t mentioned LalaVoice/LalaSing which is a EXTREMELY PAINFUL (for non sheet music knowers) Singing Synthesizer, but it’s well known that one of the voices is used in Vib Ribbon, a game by the creators of Parappa The Rapper. The only reason I said it’s painful, that you need to manually put in the notes in a music sheet format, and not a piano roll one. + you cant import your own pdf files of existing sheet music and you need to use their own type of file format.

Man, I don't think that's fair. Sheet music isn't nearly as bad as most people make it out to be. The piano roll is pretty easy, but you still have to learn, sheet music is just 2 or 3 notches in difficulty above. If anyone here is interested in learning music I highly recommend they make that effort, because it's worse for programming vocals, but way better to understand harmony, rhythm and music concepts overall. Also, it's the best gateway to really learn those things online

3:18 I had never heard of ace studio before, but it freaking slaps. Ritsu and Tianyi especially sound so clear and realistic while maintaining their Ristu-ness and Tianyi-ness. I swear they sound better than a professionally tuned vocaloid 5 or 6 voicebank.

When I saw Zola project again I basically woke up from being alive.

I'm surprised that Chipspeech isn't here because i thought it is already known to most people since the voices came from retro speech synthesizers from the 80s or older, it even have IBM704, the one who sang daisy bell. there others like S.A.M, macintalk, DECtalk, speak and spell e.t.c.

ace studio is such a good software if you wanna user a more realistic ai voicebank and in addition to that, there are a handful of chinese, japanese and english voicebanks that you can try! and if i am correct, cross-synthesis is a free feature there unlike synth v.

If anyone else out there is looking for a vocasynth on mobile, Pocket Singer is free and pretty darn good for the fact that it’s free + can be used on a cell phone. It has customizable voices, so you can basically create a voice for your own character (it is not the same as creating a voicebank from your own voice samples tho) I’m totally self promoting right here, but I’ve made two covers with Pocket Singer so far, both of which are on my channel, and I have a third one coming soon. I just thought I’d mention it because it’s really good for beginners, like me, who don’t have a computer or find other synths difficult to use :)

Yeah big agree; paraoka is really good at making songs with her. There's at least two other songs they made with her; petal-go-round (warning that it does have moan sections) and doll of love (I mainly know the demo version of this song, so I don't know if it has any moaning sections.)
