I never used to think about Rhino's being a lovely animal, but since I've been watching them on here they actually come a third loved of mine, behind the elephant and the horse I can now see their beauty, intelligence, and the babies are absolutely gorgeous, thank you for showing this video it brightened my day

Considering how much larger and stronger he is compared to the female, I commend her courage to save her little one.

Yes Agree. Defend your baby mom. I saw one where the Male was too big too strong and the mother couldn't fend him off. She ended up running away with the Male following/chasing her. Don't know how it ended.

It's fighting because rhinos are incredibly short tempered, have very poor eyesight and as such, they tend to fight...well with everything. This is, in my opinion, an uncounted result of their dwindling numbers. I'd wager good money that the male is a young adult. Or just a young male that is frustrated from not mating.. Were there numbers larger, you'd see a large bull or maybe even two or three in the vicinity & if that was the case one or all of them would have put the youngster in his place. The bigger the male, the bigger the tusk & we all know who gets the bullet for the biggest tusk. F**kin hate poachers.

Fighting is a result of their dwindling numbers? Now where on earth did you get that one from?

@@kelrogers8480 scientists, zoologists, animal behaviorist, biologists… As poachers and trophy hunting a$$holes go, they always take the biggest animals. Why? Because they have the biggest tusks/horns/antlers. Which animals have the biggest? The oldest, most experienced and the STRONGEST. When those alphas are removed, it allows youngsters to flourish and throw their weight around. They’ll pick on anything smaller than themselves. IF the old bulls were there, they would put a stop to the youngsters bad behavior. So, yeah, their dwindling numbers are the cause of their bad behavior. I can’t explain that any clearer. In the future, maybe try reading and understanding the content before posting such a smug comment. If you still don’t understand, do some research.
