The band that started it all for me. The grooves, the vocal harmonies, the melodies, These cats from New Jersey had it all. As a kid a got the chance to see them on the Ed Sullivan show, which on the east coast where I lived aired on Sunday nights at 8:00pm. How fortunate to still have these guys around making great music, and rekindling great old memories for those of us that loved them in the mid 1960's and we still do today. There's so substitute for great music. Thanks Rascals!

We saw The Rascals at Mohegan Sun last Friday night. The original four rocked out for 2 hours to the blue eyed soul sounds of the 60's. In the middle of the British invasion they survived with their Groovin', Good Lovin', I've been lonely too long and many others that brought us back to our youth for a while. "How can I be sure" fit the moment perfectly. I sent the 45 rpm record to my then girlfriend. Now she has been my wife for the last 42 years. Thank you Rascals!!!!

They played at Whittier HS (CA) during my senior year of ‘67. Felt like I was in my old nyc neighborhood (The Heights) but was actually the ‘Rican there!

Hooked on this very nice song, brightens up any ones day. FELIX is the coolest.

Some have left us, and like some of those days back then,they will always be loved and never forgotten. You Tube,I thank you.

Didn't realize at first but the band backing up Felix is Orleans. Lance Hoppen on bass and the late great Orleans lead vocalist Larry Hoppen on keys in the background. Felix still sounds great. His appreciation and love of R&B music is appreciated!

I was only 20:yrs back in the day using a fake ID to get into clubs, I recall those hot nights groovin on the dance floor .. .. groovin , reelin , man where did all those years go. If only I’d known, I’d have relished them better. But the memories are sweet too. Now we have covid19 killing us off . Why is generation so fucking stupid? Maybe they dont have our great music?

I remember back in ‘67 or so, my brother-in law telling me one day that he got into an altercation w/ one of the Young Rascals here in NYC. His name was Felix something he said. It turned out to be Felix Cavaliere. That’s how out of curiosity I started listening to his group & im glad I did.

I actually heard Felix/Rascals ..in July 19 2019.. he played at the Ocean Grove Auditorium in Ocean Grove NJ.. it was my 60th B Day treat to myself.. I would have to say.. I obtained my Rascals Greatest Hits CD from my late sister.. she passed in 2008.. whenever.. I play this CD it brings back all of the 'sister memories' of her and with her.. she was the 1st person who took me to Ocean Grove NJ.. a wonderful small.. no fuss.. Jersey shore town.. which sadly was the weekend prior to 911.. Sept 2001. So I felt this was her way of saying Happy Birthday..to me..

Outstanding , tasteful guitar work.Savvy, never overplays. It's not just the ancient looking Strat. Lace Sensor pick-ups ? Thumbs up. Rock solid drummer, excellently mixed. This seamless medley is the result of a well rehearsed, disciplined and directed on the spot, professional band. You the man Felix. There is a difference, and many appreciate it.

I love this song, never get tired of it. RASCALS what a great band.

Felix is an awesome singer! What an excellent voice. He sounds just as good live as in the studio.

The same,never get artists like the 60s,every type ,Sinatra,Torme Bennett,Stones,Stylistics,Mercury,All still GROOVIN.

@@bradleyking1353/ it's all good...my buddy had a 57 chev 427 and when he romped on it from standing start, I swear it about through you out the back window...this song written in 1967...screaming GTOs, cameros, vettes, mustangs, firebirds, road runners, cudas and gas was only $0.33 a gallon...bring it back...
