My Felder k740s is due fir delivery in 8 weeks so nice to see you using your one - do you have the 1300 or 1500 outrigger table on your saw ? I have to buy a pallet truck so I can move my existing machines around so everything fits into the workshop. Have you any advice or tips for positioning the table saw? Maybe you could do a video showing how you break down large sheets on your own so I can compare techniques! Thanks for the video 👍

We have the 1300 outrigger table, jeee space is always problem, our saw is next to the plywood wall and on right side is dust collector, from wall to the saw is like 10 cm, but the dust collector is 40-50 cm wide + house, which are in the way, luckily we can move the dust collector. You will see in time, if is on the right spot, I will do more videos thx.

@@zotyar6829 I ordered the 5.5kw option with 2.8m table , 1250mm rip capacity and 1500 outrigger. I think there were a few other minor things included ( blades mitre attachment ) but that’s the main features of the saw. I also ordered the AD951 planer thicknesser with spiral head at the same time which may have given a better price on the saw but the saw cost ~ €10k plus vat . And the thicknesser slightly more - I had the hammer 410mm planer thicknesser already , it was great but I wanted to upgrade to a heavier duty thicknesser table system and the extra width will be good for flattening wider glue ups. Hopefully this helps. Vat is 23% in Ireland so total for saw was ~ 12,300 but dont forget to allow for delivery and installation by Felder engineer €€€🙄

Used it for about a year.. One of the worst saws in the market. It is only made for laminated panels. The HP is a nightmare. I would always go for SCM.

What do you mean the HP is a nightmare? Why do you claim it is so bad?

You might not rate it if you been using an Altendorf or a Martin. They are way, way better. In UK, most high production factories use Altendorf, Martin or SCM. That is a clue to the Felder level of quality
