I found this so helpful. I had been seeing a ' Jaw Physio' for awhile and she gave me exercises to do, similar to this, but I found this much easier and more relaxing in my own home. My jaw clicks and is out, caused by my tense neck muscles. I will continue to do these movements and will be following you . Thank you.

Thank you so much. i too have chronic lyme disease and my face jaw and neck are my worst affected areas with constant pain and tightness like someone is constantly squeezing my cheeks/jaw. these movements helped a lot. i will repeat daily. i would love to be able to view the whole lesson as i live in Norwich and there are no Feldenkrais teachers anywhere near that i could go to. why not??! i spend much time watching Feldenkrais lessons on you tube and believe they are vital for us all. i get really excited knowing this stuff is out there, thank you so much for sharing this and i too look forward to anything further you may share! Blessings, Sarah x

o-Sel Nyima, I recently seen a study about the benefits of Stevia extract (liquid) on lyme disease. In your experience is there anything to it? I had only one client with lyme disease so far and that's already a few years back, no chance to ask.

Thank you Alfons, I have not heard about Stevia helping with the effects of Lyme Disease, I do know that some people find benefit from an anti-inflammatory diet which helps with the joints etc. My experience has been totally with teaching movement to people who in some cases were wheelchair bound. Feldenkrais has proved to be excellent in transforming pain offering new movement possibilities.

All my teeth are grinding flat. The hollows of my front ones are exposed. I am noticing an increase in speed (?) in how the molars are flattening. Scary. Doing these exercises for the first time, I really felt the muscles and joints at the back of my mandible, and no eye nor head movements where I was asked to notice any. I have been avoiding buying a retainer to keep my jaw slightly apart while I sleep, but have been conscious to not be touching/clenching at bedtime. Well, it has backfired as the muscles are now used to holding my jaw slightly ajar, and now when I walk I can feel impact with each step ... I’ve a loose pie hole!! KROIKY!! I will try this technique for a spell to come - ANYthing is worth my effort right now. Thank you for posting this.

Hello Nancy, Thank you for getting in touch. I am sorry you are having these problems. I have recorded the lessons but they have not been uploaded onto my website yet, but I teach the lessons via Zoom, and this works quite well because I can also tape the lesson as we do it, and then you have it. If you would like a zoom lesson email me. my address is oselnyima@me.com Yes, the lesson can help you with TMJ and migraines, that is how I got into training for Feldenkrais over twenty years ago. I had terrific migraines and had tried everything to sort them out, but it was not until I did a Feldenkrais TMJ lesson that I cured it and have not had a migraine since. Email me if you are interested in a lesson. Thank you.
