The very best baby advice I got was that every baby is different and no phase will last forever. When my baby is going thru it, I just remember it won't last forever and we'll be on the other side.

I just woke up to tornado sirens at 5am! It sure is spring

My first was a colicky, no-sleeping, keep-mama-in-a-daze little monster. It was so rough that I made the decision to start trying for my second immediately (because I was about to talk myself out of having any more babies, ever). They're 16 months apart, 14 and 15 years old now, and though I never want to be that sleep deprived again, I remember their little baby days so fondly. Sweet times.

Ghoul! I feel you! We keep our house 64-66 in the winter and 72 at most in the summer. I absolutely cannot sleep if I'm too warm

Watching you is such a comfort to me I feel like I’m catching up with my older sister or something 🖤 also as someone who’s about to turn 30, thank you for being like “aging happens whatever” it’s so nice to hear that it’s not something to be afraid of

Oh yes, I'm the mom of a kid who does not sleep. She's still a total night owl, but big enough that she knows to just chill in her room and let the rest of us get some sleep. lol You will get through, but it's going to take your brain a minute to trust it when things do start improving. Just be patient and get all the snuggles where you can. Snuggles actually do help you both sleep, on top of being a total mood boost.

Hey ghoul hey! (I’m no professional) SLEEPING ADVICE: 1. Does he eat throughout the night still? If so you can try giving him a little more than your normal feed in a bottle before bed to keep him satisfied through the night. 2. Get a sound machine! Works wonders for ours! 3. No naps 3 hours before bedtime. or see how much daytime sleep he should be getting for his age. If he’s napping too much throughout the day, he won’t sleep at night. 4. Have a relaxing bedtime routine: warm bath, book and bottle in the room he sleeps in very dimly lit. OR lastly 5. You can try the old wives tale to flip your baby before bed. I know it sounds crazy but you basically somersault your baby forward (hold his back to your belly and somersault him while holding him, head going forward and down and do a full 360 until he’s back to belly again) and it’s supposed to reset their circadian rhythm and they sleep! I know it sounds crazy but it worked for us! My son has always slept relatively well (I know we’re insanely lucky and not trying to brag but make a point) but maybe the last couple months he would wake up a few time a night because he got mad he spit his binky out, stick it back in his mouth and back to sleep he went. But some nights he wouldn’t wake up at all, some nights it was literally like 10 times. Once we flipped him, he sleeps solid through the night, binky or not 🤷🏻‍♀️ look it up on tik tok! It worked for us! Good luck on your sleep journey 😴

My youngest slept horribly for two years. I think the beginning was fairly normal by baby standards, but after she turned 1, if she woke up in the night, it would take three hours to get her back to sleep no matter what I did. I was absolutely a burned out zombie at that point. Twice I fell asleep while walking her back and forth across the room. Luckily I never fell or dropped her, but it was scary. She's 7 now and sleeps just fine, as long as she has 5 nightlights in her room, lol.
