What do you think of a Father Fish deep substrate method for a Jelly fish tank? It provides more stable water parameters than gravel or bare bottom tanks and does not require any siphoning. I use this method on three tanks right now but dirted and planted, with minimal upkeep.

You always treat ask your salt water even if you buy it saltwater has the time limit a lifespan even if it is nothing except for sodium and zero water. And especially considering they probably just drew the water straight from their own tanks. Although I have seen where they just go in grab some zero water and dump salts mix into it and you a bag and say here it will be mixed by the time you get home. That means they guesstimating that you have the right stuff. In all of these cases any change whatsoever including simple temperature acclamation will become necessary becomes one trip feeder in one trip feeder out as well as testing for both the new and the old water for the variance between as well as rebalancing for stabilisation because you don't want to shock your tank

I have a living coral reef pet includes gooseneck barnacles sea anemones jellyfish corals ect ect as well as a proper cleaning trip and unfortunately growing my own brine shrimp has been a challenging task. And so I've been making fish paste stop feeding and chummin for the filter feeders. Needless to say but chumming causes Havoc for the entire Aquarium and when I'm feeding nothing can be running except for the AquaJet and the lighting. And after feeding the first thing to get turned on is the skimmer and then the Quick Change media filters get turned on and then finally after pulling the quick-change media filters I can finally turn on the biofilter waterfall. I've been doing this for 600 gallons! for more times than well I care to mention. If I could upscale the process that you have going there I could get rid of the skimmer in the jet put in a table fan and using standard undergravel tank filter to supply the waterfall. Yes it's true I still have to throw in chopped bait but instead of coming the water I could throw in brine shrimp and let my filter feeders take care of themselves. I've just never had the time to deal with the brine shrimp and it's always been so time-consuming and labor-intensive but I'm thinking if I could just aerate the water and use that capture cup is a feed retriever probably be able to run a brine shrimp farm for 6 months at a time making it a lot more worthwhile to raise my own brine shrimp and actually decreasing the process is necessary to keep my tank up and running

It's a complex system. A bunch of big fancy words for each of the working parts of the jelly fish. Moon jellies will usually use their stinger to take down prey, or small enough prey that just gets caught. From there It's transported tiiiiny bit to tiiiny bit to a part where it mixes with mucus- then transported _again_ into eight canals that'll go to final digestion. I wish I knew more or could remember what all the things are called or do, but it's fascinating and complex. Hope at least my explanation was at least understandable, because it truly is alien!

They're too fragile. Plants can injure them. Jellyfish in the ocean float on currents high up. They aren't around on the ocean bottom. Plus when having them as a pet they need to be in a cylinder container, anything round, to keep them from also getting hurt. There can't be any corners, needs to have a constant water flow and a protected outlet. These tanks are ideal for them so they can float in it.
