Feeding Bass the Biggest Shad Ever!
Үй жануарлары мен аңдар
Before this video, I went cast netting to catch food for the fish and caught this giant gizzard shad. This was by far the largest shad I had ever seen and the bass devoured it when I cut it into chunks.

The Sharpness of your camera during the slo-mo's is beyond spectacular. I could literally feed those fish everyday and it would be the best stress reliever hands down.

I think it’s because of evolution. Humans progressed from bla, bla, fish and fish like eating, since it lets them survive. Fish like it. Humans evolved from fish, therefore we must’ve slightly taken that evolution trait from fish

I just got really sad for a second there, knowing how ritualistic fish are, thinking about those fish waiting in those spots for you to come and feed them on days that you can't haha

On November 24th I caught (snagged with a jerkbait) a 19-1/2” 3lb 4oz shad...in northern Illinois. We only have a spear & bow fishing state record for shad which is 3lbs 2ozs so sadly it doesn’t count ☹️ but I know I own that damn record lol if anyone’s interested I can make a slide show from the pics and uploaded it to KZread and post the link. 10 likes or 4 comments and I’ll do it lol

Kid I love your videos, thank you for sharing with us. I don't get to fish much anymore so it is great to see those monster bass and a young person who is obviously enjoying what the Lord has provided us.✌
Do people try to sneak in to fish there? We do at ponds near us, but we always release them. Maybe someone took your bass.
This is amazing footage. Your passion for these fish really comes through.
That shad was an absolute chad
Love watching your videos man keep it up, greetings from Germany
It’s amazing how the bass’ mouth just explodes wide open. It’s awesome and I love it.
I love how non clickbait this channel is he says big bass big shad and i get to watch a big bass eat a big shad. LOVE IT
Made my day. No doubt biggest shad I have ever seen by far. RIP Blind Savage.
Respect the fact that this man don’t want the money he just wants to make his fans happy with the videos
Awesome video as always!
Ya know what I like about your videos? You love aquatic life and respect it. I eat fish but only salt water fish. Your little pond is a mecca for fresh water wild life and it looks so clean. Happy to watch the big bass feed.
That is the biggest Shad ever i see 😎

Just epic!! Love it !
I told my mom about you and she is hooked on your videos.
I just love your channel! Keep your turtles safe!
where did you get the bass that are in your pond
Love your videos! 😁
got me emotionally invested in fish I've never met
never gets old!
Those bass have the brain of a great white shark, but they're trapped in that little body 😂
I only like when you feed the turtles, not the bass. The turtles are so cool.
Your videos are awesome. I have seen fish accustomed to being fed. Every other year my mom will take me and my brother back to Illinois and one of the ponds by my grandparents house has a gazebo and in 2017 when we were there I noticed that the sunfish would follow me from one side to the other, and not just regular sized sunfish there were some in the 11-12 inch range and probably weighed about 1.5 lb. I instantly recognized that they followed me because they were expecting bread just like ducks and geese would. Absolutely insane and yet amazing.
These videos are so entertaining
How.. how is that even the same species? The size variations in fish will never cease to amaze me. It seems fish grow forever like reptiles do, but unlike reptiles, it seems like their growth slows down a lot less..
These vids are relaxing
1:05 who needs jurassic world when you have this
Never gets old
Thanks! Its fun to watch

It looks like one of those small ponds that are common in and around subdivisions. He’s mentioned feeding them for 10 years. I’m assuming people there respect the effort he’s made for that long. I could be wrong!! He is missing two fish atm.
How I see shad:Salad How the bass see shad:SALAD!!

Bro those bass are huge!!!!
Will this hurt the fish in the long run? I mean if u are constantly feeding them the. They are gonna depend on u every time or no? I’m just asking idk. Bc if the rely on u and u move or stop u are just hurting them.
@Firemann1990

no, fish always find a good spot to eat, if the food sources disappears, they will find another spot

Ok. I wasn’t sure. I go to a campsite where I live and people feed the deer all summer long so they can see them in the mornings and so the deer come up close to their properties. And then in the winter they leave the camp ground and the deers literally starve. They get so skinny. It really makes me upset. Its hard enough for them as is in the winter. Thx for the comment.
@catdogfishdogcats

@@ryanharrod1155 fish are adaptive and opportunists, if they see that scheduled feeds fetch them easy food, esp basically hung above their mouths, they'd wait a bit to be fed. But these fish are perfectly capable of hunting on their own, this is just an easy bonus
@ryanharrod1155

Yeah maybe u are right but know one really knows. Unless u are a expert.
0:40 jesus that bass is huge. It makes that shad look like a minnow
If there is a 12 to 14 inch shad in a pond how big do you think the bass will be? 10+??
That's top-notch slo-mo there
You mentioned that they are going to spawn soon; is there anyway you can document that process?
Those bass will become enormous
I love your bass
I love it that you name them you must care about them I think the bass love your feeding but they won’t admit that😂
Great video
Turtles good and cute
Ok so your editing is great!
Nature is the best to watch and enjoy.
Pretty amazing... gotta be fun to do and watch
Can you please give us a view of the whole pond?
How often do you get to weigh them to check their growth? Any idea what the biggest one is?
