yeah, but it is smarter to do it with a closed fist. open palm is how you could potentially lose some fingers if the dog is aggressive. if your hand is a closed fist then the outside with just get a bit ripped up, but no chomped off fingers

What he said was cute. Truth is the Husky isn't husky in weight as he's believing. Really, not at all overweight. You wouldn't believe the amount of fur that these dogs have! It stands to reason, though, considering their origin, and they're a working dog, too. They have the coat of fur you can not begin to comprehend and definitely can't see on camera. Have you ever seen wool freshly sheared from sheep? This breed has a layer of fur beneath what is seen, and it is very, very thick. It is not like what you see as fur on dogs or on most undercoats of fur. It's the Husky's breed; it's a God-given installation. With this added thick layer, they're the dog version of how we look when wearing a puffy jacket. Lol, but it's great protection! It's a dreaded time for the owners when it's time for shedding of this wooly undercoat. I loved my girl. They need lots of exercise! Every morning, I would walk her. Toward the end of our long walk, yet a long distance from home, she'd know what was coming. She was waiting to hear me say, "Kara Mush!" Wow, the pull and the speed! This dog is primarily the breed that's runs in the Iditarod race yearly.

The little "yesyesyesyes" is the perfect description of how it feels to pet a random dog

Dogs can smell us without getting close. They just like to get in close and check us out even more and to observe our body language + scent changes while we're in close contact. If I don't know a dog I don't stick my hand out for them and I don't approach them with face to face. I simply pretend like they don't exist even if they're barking at me.

@@awnis001 my mom delivered mail. She always carried milkbone dog biscuits in the car for the dogs on her route; the small multi flavors for the little dogs & the large 1s well for the large dogs. She always got the owners permission but it was rare like really you never really heard of food allergies in animals then so it wasn't a big deal. She retired in the early 2000's because w the USPS you have to be 55yrs old & have 30yrs in, in order to retire... she had the time in but wasn't old enough. It's only been about the last 10-15yrs that you've really been seeing speciality foods.... it's crazy. The dogs... well the big dogs were the best part of her route because they'd come out everyday & put their paws up in the window as if to say hi where's my biscuit... She said the little demon dogs never failed to nip at her when delivering pkgs even when she gave them a biscuit.

I was a cable guy for 7 years. I miss meeting all the doggos I don't miss fixing the cable...

I love how he just yeets it at the end.

We’re all gonna ignore the fact that the guy still threw the package at the end

It's nice to know other people put their dog outside on a really long leash. Never see anyone else do that, but my dog loves being outside in the front and will bother so many people (or run off) if he's not contained to the yard. Also, nice delivery guy!

I delivered for FedEx for 3 years and getting to know everyone's dogs was my favorite part, I always would carry full size Milkbones and give them out every chance I could

@@calebpettifer I see your point, but I own a dog and if I let them outside in the front I fully know that at some point somebody gonna want to pet him and give treats. Dogs stuck in the backyard on the other hand is one way to prevent strangers from petting and giving treats.

that's actually an Alaskan Malamute! :) I used to have one, they're so smart and sweet. this one isn't actually very fat; malamutes are normally pretty thick looking, especially because of the winter coat.

Is it just me or does it seem inappropriate to give the dog a treat without the owners permission? I mean you wouldn't give a child food without asking the parents. What if the dogs allergic, what if you're trying to give your dog a specific diet etc etc.
