Roger deserved better in 2014 and 2015.

This match has one of my favourite commentary lines of all time: "Federer's made that look RIDICULOUSLY easy..."

Federer didn't suffer a single bagel between 2008 and 2021. This was one of the matches where it came very close to snapping that streak.

What the heck happened in that second set? Back injury? Classic post prime RF brain fart? Purposely gifted Ferrer a set out of pity? I remember watching this live and 10 years later still can’t understand what happened to him in that second set

Tbf Ferrer played quite well even in the first set. just took his chances in the 2nd and ran away with it. Some people said Roger was a bit tired but I dont think that was it. So let's go for post prime brain fart lmao
