They used to be arguing but mainly since Nadal couldn't win against Federer anymore off clay (2014+) and Federer was never competition on clay they became more friendly - not a threat anymore.

Thrilled to hear Rafa say Pete Sampras, when asked about his likes in sport. Federer I already knew was a Sampras admirer. I think Sampras has been undervalued, he was a superb champion, so glad to hear Rafa and Roger say what they did. Also love that Rafa, after all these years, still says "Actitude"!

@@nelsonc6173 Nadal beat Federer 2 to 1 for the first 30 matches - it wasn't all that much of a "rivalry" really by the numbers. Federer got some wins back on the head to head because Nadal wasn't consistent off clay for the last 10 years and Federer pretty much quit the clay season many years before he retired so they barely met on clay anymore.

There was also the infamous "lucky shot" 2011 US Open Federer press conference after another Federer multiple match point choke vs Djokovic. Djokovic never said a single word against Federer but did absolutely beat that arrogance out of him on court. The "joke" was well and truly on him.

It’s so sad they are both soon history. I miss their rivalry and tennis quality. It’s just not the same anymore.

terrible hair and not using sunscreen ending up looking very aged will do that... Nadal is less than 5 years younger than Federer (2 months under 5 years). and Djokovic is obviously more dedicated - he has been putting hours daily for over 15 years into flexibility which is hugely injury preventative. Fedal ended up with broken joints and he hasn't - not a coincidence. not to mention his diet also - he was 10kg lighter which over 20 years makes a big difference on knees and hips...

@@huzcer the overall sexiness in the way Fedal play the game is like none other. Djoko somehow doesn't have the sex appeal these guys have. There is beauty when Fed plays and there is passion when Rafa slices the ball across the court. Djoko somehow does not elicit these emotions.

Love this. It's so nice to see a sportsman like Roger being happy without the sport. It must be super difficult to imagine a life without it before you end your sport career. The creative team for this idea could have just given them beanies to keep their ears warm rather than sit them out in the cold for this period of time in this manner, out of respect - and care - for the 2 legends. Ironically, for me, this omission of this detail to address their obvious discomfort especially that of gracious Nadal swho even commented on this in the biting cold with wind blowing - negates all of LV's brand imaging. It should never have been. But beautiful meet of both champions. Respect to them and their friendship.

I was and am a Roger fan forever..but could not hate Rafa even a bit..no one could..Now I love Rafa as much I love Roger...
