Federal Signal STH-10 Pager/Siren Test, Attack, Shoreham, NY 3/16/2023

This STH-10 is a fire siren for the Wading River Fire Department and is located inside the abandoned Shoreham Nuclear Power Plant. It is NOT and NEVER WAS a nuke siren, it is a fire siren. It is tested everyday at noon and every Thursday at 6:30PM with the pagers. This siren was installed in 2005, and refurbished in 2022.

This thing looks and sounds AWESOME! They really did a good job on this thing! Love how that red strikes in the dusk.

I always hear this siren go off in my town.
Ah so this is the siren that was heard in that video of shoreham explorers all those years ago! I wondered where it was coming from! This is sick.

There is another pole next to it? Did it replace something? Anyways by far the best looking STH-10A I have ever seen and one powerful monster!

I noticed the chopper sounded a little bit out of tune, why is that?

yea. along with this they have a Model 7 at HQ which i filmed, and a Model 2 at the other station on Hulse Landing Road

yes definitely I like that shiny red. it was refurbished very recently...new rebuilt motor and new paint job

the old reactor for the Shoreham Nuclear Power Plant...it was shut down in 1989
Sounds like Boonville ny Fire whistle
