General Info:
This STH-10 is located atop Bay Shore Fire Department's HQ on 5th Ave. It is used only for heavy rescue car accidents, technical rescues and structure fires, and only this STH-10 is tested every Wednesday and Saturday at noon, and the pager test is done on Saturdays at noon.
Bay Shore FD has three other sirens: An STH-10 on Orinoco Dr across the railroad tracks from Aberdeen Rd, another STH-10 on Rhodes Ave behind the Bay Shore High School (which I think might be turned off because I never hear it) and a Model 2 on Moffitt Blvd between Brentwood Rd and Saxon Ave.

it isn't...it hasn't been painted in a while as far as i know. on the opposite side there's cracked pieces of plastic that covered the horns. If you look on Howells Rd on street view you'll see it

Sadly. It went from 8 cycles to 4 and a half and the model 2 ruined it

it's not fresh at all lol...good ol 70s STH-10 (i think)
So which ones are still active? I heard the one by the train tracks and the one by the school both have been inactive at some points. Sucks the one at station 2 got replaced by a model 2, that leaves Melville as the only department with 4 STH10s I believe.
