    Hi, nice tutorial. I had my Pa300 with a AS124 speaker, but after a couple months peaker died. There are 2 wires comming from speaker, are here any diffirenses between connecting blue/brown wires from siren to black/white wire from speaker? Can you also make a tutorial how to open AS124 speaker to get inside (to magnet itself)?

    Is it possible you could make a video showing how you connect it to what ever power source you are using inside? I recently got a pa300 and tested real quick with my car battery but I’d like to do something similar to this indoors, guessing you’re using a car battery charger? If you could make a quick video of hooligans the wires to your power source to the siren I’d greatly appreciate it!

    I am using a “Jump n’ Carry” by JNC for my indoor videos. I have a video posted that shows me physically connecting my wires to the battery if that is all you need. The video is “How to wire a touchmaster.” Let me know if you need something more.

    My wire harness came with 2 red wires and 2 black wires (and a green for ground to vehicle). After trial and error, seems that either one (one red to power - one black to negative) or both of same color (both red to power - both black to negative, can be used to power the unit. My mic function isn't working, and thatwas throwing me off during install.

    For a PA300, what would the steps be to use the white and white/yellow wire to an external button for activation instead of through the horn?

  • @russelldb1593

    To hook up the yellow and white ..and white wire, find the horn wire coming out of the steering wheel. Cut it. Then connect the Y&W to the steering wheel wire.... And then the white one to the other end of the cut wire. The end that's going into the relay.

    I have this model with the 100w speaker. I wired it as you showed in the video and to test it out I connected the power directly to my truck battery and ground wire to my chasis. I turned the gain switch on only enough to turn the power on, so the switch was all the way to the left. I flipped the horn button once quickly and it was extremely loud echoing in the neighborhood. So my question is can I adjust the speaker volume somehow?

  • @allintodrumsandguns

    You would need a 5 watt resistor connected in line with one of the speaker wires to lower the volume, otherwise it will stay at 100 watts output.

    Rob Boat For sure. It’s rather simple. All you do extra is connect the lead wires of the second speaker together with the first speaker. Make sure you keep the lead wires the same. (White with white and black with black.) You can add extensions to the wire leads if you want them farther apart, but just keep the leads the same as previously mentioned. Hope that makes sense!

    Slade/JohnMayer If you connected the speaker exactly as shown in the video, and you still don’t have sound, then it’s most likely a defective speaker. I personally would double check the wires, and try a second speaker if you have one or have access to a second one. Best of luck!

  • @allintodrumsandguns

    @allintodrumsandguns

    5 жыл бұрын

    Hmm, well it could be a number of things. I would start with the power and ground wires, mainly making sure that they have a solid connection to the battery, as well as internally secured. Also could be a loose wire connection inside the unit. That could be a pain staking process, but that is my gut feeling. I would also recommend checking the wires on the front turn knob as well; make sure those are intact too. Beyond that, it could be a shot in the dark. I’ve never had anything like that happen to any of my units, but I wish you the best of luck in finding a resolution.

    JOHN SMITH Shouldn’t need a separate amp. For the PA, there is usually a dial or adjustment in the amp to turn up (or down) the volume on the PA. All the sirens that I own with a PA have an adjustment knob on the unit. Sounds like that is most likely your issue.

Unfortunately I do not have 12 pin connector. On the right side I have positive and negative power. which I checked with a tester. My PA 300 doesn’t light up at all. So do I need to tap in to the 12 pin for a second positive and negative to get it to work? my BP 100 has two wires.
