I started in law enforcement back in 1979. I was taught as a rookie to use the hi/lo to clear traffic at a intersection .The reason why it is such a unusual tone , that it gets everyone's attention this little Hellraiser is the only one that dose it !!

@@supertrinigamer "Great Britain" (AKA "England") is a country in Europe, not a county, & hi-lo sirens are common in Europe (though other tones like wail & yelp _are_ used nowdays as well. Germany I believe actually *outlaws* the use of any other tone _other than_ hi-lo however).

On the older units you can bridge the yelp and Hi low to get a very unique sound, as in the Blues Brother's Movie

Best siren ever. Open traffic very well. I love the sound. Very good video. This product works OK.

I remember the 300 during the early 2000s I have to say on a crown vic that siren sounds intimidating.

That would be a very fun toy to have just make sure the cops don't catch you.

I'm from Chile 🇨🇱 and that sound is used by the policemen of Chile 🇨🇱 I write to them in English because I speak the Spanish language because I am from Chile 🇨🇱 but I know the English language. So that horn I think is used by the Chilean police 🇨🇱 or is very similar to the police in Chile 🇨🇱. So that sound looks like the sound that the CHILE police make 🇨🇱. (LOOKS LIKE)

Yes, It does control the sound of the siren tones.

They are truly a great siren to use they have been around for a long time.

I read that they used a specially designed CC1 control head with an MPA2 amplifier and TS100 speakers, they started using the custom PA500 sirens in 1987, with a control head which also controlled the radio.
