On Chris and I's last day in Florida, we decided to go somewhere in the Orlando metro for the monthly first Saturday test. When Chris called Winter Park about two hours before the test, the police department told us they did not know if they would be tested or not because of an event that just so happened to be right next to this siren. We were initially going to try Oviedo instead, but we could not get ahold of anyone there and would not get there with much time to spare, so we chanced Winter Park instead. Neither of us had heard a 1004, so this was the easy choice. Noon rolls around, nothing. About two minutes later, Chris called, and they said they'd be setting them off shortly. Two minutes after that, the Modulator winds up in pulsed wail! Both of us sat there, jaws agape, for a good 10 seconds after it turned on. What a surprise this was! This has been recorded numerous times, but it has always done the regular one minute alert that the mechanical sirens do. You can hear in the background of this video that the mechanicals did the normal one minute cycle while the two Modulators did full pulsed wail. It was certainly strange, but it was certainly a treat, and a great end to our vacation! Thanks for watching, and enjoy!

It's just one of the 7 default signals these controllers can run. It's up to the people in charge of the siren to decide what each sound is for.

The siren is fine, this is a real signal on all UltraVoices. What tells me it was not a malfunction is that both Modulators in the system did it, so it was likely a wrong button push or something along those lines.
