We went ahead and nabbed New Carlisle's Equinox today. Gotta say, it was quite weird hearing 8 port come out of a 2001 style siren. It's relatively comparable to the 508 we recorded, New Carlisle's other siren, but it seemed a bit more directional. The snow made for a very pretty shot, and I toyed with the idea of not including the secondary shot. Ultimately I decided both deserved a spot on the stage. Clark County does not have a county-wide system, but a few smaller city/municipality/township level systems exist, including this one. Enjoy!
Sirens in New Carlisle are tested the first Monday of every month at 10:00 AM ET.

Nice! Sounds great! Compares to a 508 (I've heard 508's before) but the 508s are definitely louder. Nice video!

looks like a 2001-130 but sounds like an ASC T-128 or an FS 508

sounds like a 508 Eclipse 8 Eclipse NH T-112 T-121 T-128 T-135
Why would they build these instead of a 508? I mean they sound and work the same. If somebody knows please let me know.

That pitch is perfectly normal for an Equinox. Threw me off for the first time when I heard one.
