I run these in my mossberg shockwave, gives me a capacity of 8+1 of #4 buck in a very small package! With the mini shell adapter they are 100% reliable and the reduced recoil lets me bring the shockwave up to my eye's without concern of breaking my nose lol topped of with the streamlight forend with a flashlight and fiber optic front sight. I like this setup alot!

i use the Aquila mini slugs in my midland 12ga with a rifled choke tube on deer, they hit like a hot 44magnum but have a .72 caliber diameter drops deer with ease out to 70yards

Wow, i was curious how they would do on that sized game.

If it was me, I wouldn't shoot slugs through a full choke.

Used these short shells at the range. They save the shoulder when you have a day at the range. Also extends the capacity. They cycle well in my mossberg 590a1 with the use of a opsol adapter.

My adapter cost $5, and works great in my 590a1.

Federal and Aguila short shells are all I shoot through my midland arms backpacker that and 9 mm and 22 wmr

I've got a K.S.G with the choke tube adapter, with a. 725 choke tube both the federal number 4 buckshot and the number 8 shot made a 12in pattern at 25yrds. Love them

So much fun. Love these simple single-shot.

I have an HR single model 088 do you know what the choke is? Can we use the smooth bore slugs?

I’ve got an old Ithaca super single , go run some of these , looks fun . I love a day out with the single shots .

I seen those at local Walmart but I have Waaay to many shells so I didn't grab them. Maybe the full choke is messing with them slugs and I'm pretty sure about that...they work better out of more open choke. Thanks brother for sharing, God bless & stay safe!👍🙏🇺🇸

So far this is the only video with mini slugs and a single shot shot gun , I just bought a Hatfield single shot shot gun from Walmart figuring that it would kick like a SOB and they just happen to have some mini 8 shot shells and bought 3 boxes thinking that the recoil would be so bad . Thanks for making the video and sharing your fun .

Had been thinking for awhile to get some of these, mini shells at least, didn't care what brand, but I walked into a Walmart today and on the shelf was 8 boxes of the #8 shot. I bought them all, going to buy several of the Op sol shotgun adapters meant for Mossberg and I am going to load up one of my Shockwaves for home defense.

I’ll have to get some and try them in my NEF 12ga.

Put a dryer sheet under your hat for the gnats. Sounds crazy but it does work.

I didn't know it's safe to shoot slugs through a full choke, I have always thought it could make the barrel explode at the muzzle, or just mess up the choke sleeve.

I really loved the features of the Midland Backpack 18.5" 12 Gauge, but it got to where I just hated shooting it, even using a Limbsaver pad. Sold it and don't regret it. I thought about just using Mini Shells in it, but with the ammo shortage, they are very hard to find. Also, the Mini Shells are very limited compared in what they can do for hunting compared to standard full size 12 Gauge shells. There is no #6 or #4 shot. Only one kind of slug in either Federal or Aguila offerings, and neither is very accurate. #4 Buck is great for self defense and pest control of coyotes, etc, but's also very limited. 00 Buckshot would be much better overall. So, after thinking about these things, I sold mine and went back to a slightly heavier H&R single shot. I'm much happier now!

Using a full choke tube while shooting slugs is NOT a wise choice 😕 unless maybe it's a "Foster-type Slug"

I bought some of the 4 buck today, what is the recoil comparable too? Rifles or shotguns, ive shot all the way from 22 up to 300 Mag, just curious so i know what to expect

throw a opsol adaptor on your mossberg pump you can run these and the aguila ammo through your mossberg. They cylce just fine i have never had a hangup turned my maverick 88 from a 5+1 to a 8+1

Does anyone know the PSI of these shorty shells? Also would they be safe to fire in Damascus barrel shotguns with 2.5 inch chambers?

Those are pretty cool for the sinlge shot so it does not buck you as much....LOL...The only thing for me is they need to get popular maybe to bring the price of em down....Nice informative vid....Good stuff....

Amazon, but i cant recommend it.. 2 of the 3 fell apart.. Go with an Allen Company butt stock shell holder (ammo pouch), the ones i had by them lasted forever.

What barrel size do these fit in? would: *3inch - 2 3/4inch* work?
