Federal budget allocates money to ‘political priorities’ over a functioning economy
Sky News host Chris Kenny says the new federal government looks more like a state one as they allocate money to “political priorities” over a functioning economy.
“Let me try to explain what is a pretty bizarre budget, it looks more like a state government budget, doesn’t it,” Mr Kenny said.
“They don’t really have to worry about running an economy, they just allocate money to their political priorities and that is what Anthony Albanese and Jim Chalmers have done here.”

Yes but think of how many focus groups you could fund with that power plant money!
So they think giving money to power companies will lower the price you watch the price of power will go up by $350 per house hold
Not to every household. I live off grid, solar and batteries. I get nothing because I don't use the electricity system. Stop saying everyone gets it.

I predict power bills will go up $300 immediately! Just like rebates for health insurance caused an immediate rise in health insurance premiums .
This should be means tested like all other forms of taxpayer funded welfare ! Then paid to low to middle income earners and pensioners via a rebate / pension bump at tax time , if you qualify ! They are paying welfare to the top end of town ! ( while completely ignoring the reason for high power prices ! )
