Fecon Stumpex

Ғылым және технология

Recently we were able to try out the Fecon Stumpex on a larger scale job. Stumps ranged anywhere from six to forty inches in diameter. Our average time to process a stump was approximately four minutes with the largest ones taking closer to 10 minutes. In total, we were able to grind 125 stumps in 11 hours of work time.
* Disclosure * We are not a dealer for this product nor do we have the ability to easily rent one to you. The purpose behind this video was to illustrate some capabilities of the machine if you are interested in the technology yourself.

@@dmj-ju9zx a traditional stump grinder doesn't produce fine sawdust, and the area to clean, as you suggest, is the same. Most people who use traditional stump grinders don't clear out the chips, so there is really no cleanup anyway. The issue with traditional ones is noise and part replacement. Those teeth are expensive and require replacing often, and the noise they make is deafening.
