Heritage tractor really is top notice. I bought my first JD at that location back when it was Legacy.

I think the mulcher head is a better attachment . If you bushog an area with small trees you can go over the area with the mulcher and smooth out any little stumps that can poke a hole in a tire or trip you up while walking. The stump planer really can only do one task. Looking at it and I might be wrong but the stump would need to be a certain size for the planer to work. In my opinion the planer isn’t worth the money. But then again I’m looking at it as a homeowner not a business owner. Thanks for the video.

Fecon is some great equipment. That's what I used when I worked in land clearing. Bushwackers Land clearing. They have some videos on KZread. That's gona be a quick cutter for stumps.

Right, but I doubt that you would watch a TV show that eight minutes of commercials, just because they had "production costs"....there is a limit to which You tube watchers will tolerate full length ads, and for me, with two full, and no "skip add" button, you have reached it. All the best, Bill.

Just as a generalized conversation. A 30 minute show on TV will have seven minutes of commercials and 23 minutes of content so that’s 30%. Also just for the general knowledge pool I have no idea what kind of ads play and if they are skipable or not. That’s the platform, not the creator

The mulcher head attachment at the end of the video does an extremely 1000x better job than the corkscrews 2-blade head attachment at the beginning of the video. Seems like a waste of time on that one! I wish I had a little mulcher head attachment for my John deere 1025R sub compact tractor👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼

Messicks did a video on this stump tool for his rental business. Seems if the stump is bigger than the blade it makes for tricky removal.

You might try a regular stump planer (like Eterra), the FECON Stumpex seems to take a lot more horsepower than most skid steers can muster

All of these attachments have pros and cons. I don't think you would have wanted to use the forestry mulcher to clear out your landscape beds at home.

Yeah, and everything shown in this video cost over $20,000 for the attachment to my mind you need to be in business pretty serious or just independently wealthy to own one of these Me doing a couple of paid jobs per week doesn’t justify an attachment like that

I don't know if it's just me, but it looks like this fecon stumpex can't go deeper even though you say so. I see it just working only the upper layers of soil.

Daniel, who was running it in the video, mentioned that it would go way below grade But you are right, in this video he never went way below grade I think it will keep sucking itself down until there is nothing for that cone on the end to grip. Basically I think if it was Hollow below ground it would stop pulling down. That’s just speculation from watching this one demo. Daniel posted another video today running that thing more than what you saw here

For 20 K that Fecon stump machine should grind the stump, rake up the scraps, and mow and weed eat your yard, water your garden and buy you breakfast. Ouch. If I had all that Weigh Safe money like you that would be chump change. Just kidding Brock….

Making KZread videos as a full-time job like any other. Content creators need to be paid. KZread places the ads. Have a good one
