I highly doubt that this attachment would last for 1,000 stumps before needing to be sharpened. Considering the high torque, something will bend or break when you catch a high carbon solid steel fence post that the tree's grown around and completely encased. And I strongly suspect that the extreme torque, will induce stress fractures in your frame over time, and likely a lot quicker than you'd expect because it was not specifically designed for that kind of stress.

How much dose it coughs? I have a 42in stump behide a retaining walls with a 2ft fence on top....looking for something like that

What about the roots? The stump is only 1/2 of the job.

so what happens to your loader arms should you hit a large object? Is there a shear pin or bypass? Seems like an insane amount of stress and twisting on the carrier.

I've never seen an issue with that in 3 1/2 years of renting and selling them. 98% of feedback I receive from the Stumpex is that they like it a lot more than a traditional wheel style stump grinder. Less Debris, less cleanup, takes equal if not less time (believe it or not because it turns slowly), it is less expensive to maintain, you don't need a special applications poly door on your machine, it's safer, and Fecon has great products, warranty, and customer service. Would highly recommend

20 K what does the average person pay to have a stump removed 150 dollars that is 200 stumps till it starts paying you!

Most companies charge a min. 75-100 up to about 25" but $20 a stump if you had a 100
