February Chisel Plowing in Ohio!!
I have done many tasks in February, such as spread manure, tree trimming, corn harvest, but never any tillage. Last year, February was dryish, and 2024 is trying to repeat that. Now it is March while I'm posting this, and its back to standard Ohio excessive wetness. The two inch spikes do a fine job; I do like three inchers for a little more soil action. Four inchers are just too much for these old chisels.

We were dry here in se ark til this week. Some corn planted. South of me in Louisiana some guys completely finished.

Wow…Here in the Northeastern plains of Colorado we would tear the shanks off the plow before they would goin that easy.
Hopefully you will see this in time. Brian Brown has a working grain drier they are getting rid of. He talked about it in his last video. Thought maybe you might be interested.✌️

You still have the 2 + 2 international? You get it all out back together?
Why are you leaving that swale through the center of the field? Maybe the tile drain is close to the surface there. Is that the reason?

Chisel plowing is always fun,I use a 3588 and white 12 shank 3 point chisel plow
