@@jtlearn1 I really don't want to make Pete's video's religious, but not "believing" in atheist is not a thing. To say you don't "believe" in Atheists is to deny reality. In simple terms, because most of the current definitions thrown around are wrong, atheist just don't believe the claim, "A god exist". That includes all gods, not just the Christian god or the Muslim god or the particular god you believe in. That's it. In fact, you yourself are an atheist to ALL other Gods, just not the one you believe in. Atheist just go 1 more god further in saying they don't believe. The rejection of God is plainly not enough evidence to warrant belief. Show objectively, verifiable, demonstrable evidence and you will completely wipe out Atheism.

Pete and Hilary, Thanks for a great action video on the Farm today. You definitely have a practical approach with small issues like a flat tire on the manure spreader . If your prepared with the spare inner tube at your disposal. Last falls repairs to your manure spreader turned out really well because it's working perfectly for you. The composted combination of chicken manure and aged pig bedding makes great fertilizer and with rain forecasted should help the land to absorb the fertilizer. Mother Earth is waking up for the 2024 growing season which makes spring farming a busy time of the year.

Every time I see a manure spreader I see in my mind my 2 older brothers & me sitting out in a field of straw colored tall dead grasses with our backs against the metal rusty wheels of our grandad's old wooden broken down manure spreader. It had been around for generations. I remember my grandad going up & down the fields on his old orange tractor pulling that wagon when it was full of manure & it flying high in the air behind it. It was in the Fall of about 1952 (I would have been about 7 years old) and the three of us kids took a break in the warm sun before going up to the farmhouse for supper. We could tell by the sun (and our bellies) it was nigh onto supper time. We'd been far out in the what we called "the back forty" (which was more like a hundred) all afternoon, exploring the woods and stream where all we could hear was the the wind & gurgling stream. We'd been looking for any shed skins of rattlesnakes, copperheads, or just about any other kinds of childhood trophies we could take home with us that day. Back then we often had to be called back in by a big old bell hanging off the back porch, or our father who had a whistle louder than a steam engine. But, that day we could feel the change in the time of day and we could smell it in the air. I'm glad my happiest memories are of farming life & the smells of nature that went with it & all the animals, crops, tractor and machinery, corn cribs, hay mow, barn, double-seated outhouse, smokehouse & out buildings, cast iron wood stove in the kitchen for cooking and having one heated room (other than the oil burning stove in the parlor), the windmill and a pump at the kitchen sink with one out front of the "old kitchen" of that pre-Civil War orange clay Pennsylvania brick farmhouse. (I've kept one of those old broken bricks my whole life.) All of my grandparents were farmers, my parents were young farmers & WWII changed life for them. All of them and my brothers and little sister are all gone now, but they're all still with me in my memories. I can't drive down a country road and smell new mown grass, newly plowed fields, or even newly spread manure, without remembering. Pete...I cannot thank you enough for the impact you have made on my life during covid, and even now with all the world gone crazy. You are that ray of sunshine that brightens the darkest day. Thank you for your honesty, caring, steadfastness, & good humor in telling it like it really is. Even tho' I've not got a tractor anymore, I love your videos of auctions with your father or children, and the restorations you have done which will help so many by your teachings. Also, thanks to lovely Hillary for all she is and all she does. It's just not possible to find a better life partner than Hillary. May God continue to watch over and bless you both, your family & your loved ones. 🙏🌄

I loved your opening - choosing your task for today - and seeing your face light up when you saw that bee-a-o-tiful manure spreader looking brand spanking new! A sheer delight, for sure! Thanks for all the drone footage of you spreading manure. Very meditative! Yours in Gratitude

Miss the ''fresh country air'' of spreading season, the liquid manure farmers spread these days is nauseating. Love the channel, takes me back to my childhood on the farm.

I grew up in a little western town and there were large feedlots. In the spring, I would head out to one of them and the hands there were more than happy to load up the pick up with all of the manure I wanted. Then back home, spread it out. Wait a few days for that aroma to go away and we had the best lawns every year.

The sun warming you, the breeze in your face as you ride your Farmall, the birds chirping, and the sweet aroma of aged fertilizer being released to do what nature intended. I sort of chuckled when I saw you wrangling that tire and removing the inner tube. Now that was commonplace when I was younger but I wonder if it's still a "thing" in modern day America. Most of us of my generation did all of our car work under the nearest tree and tire repairs were the most applied skill since most of our tires were bald and junk yard spares. Good times and I thank you for the gentler memories. I try to forget my past sins and dwell on these ones.

I love your reactions to disappointing things - tire tube no good even after professional installation? No ranting and raving or complaining about how it just delayed your day, just calmly go about fixing it and move on with a smile. How do I incorporate that attitude into my life??
