Don't listen to what other people say about your wardrobe; as long as you feel good in your clothes, then wear them with pride. My son is 24 and he loves wearing clothes that could be from the early 1900's and he looks really good.

It's basically a tighter, (closer/shorter) version of this.

I loved diana's style when she got engaged, it was so natural and soft.

I'm surprised it doesn't look outdated

Started cosmetology school about three years before Diana married Prince Charles. You absolutely nailed it! Five stars on technique and styling.

I had this hair style. Madonna had a version in her papa don't preach except she didn't have it going up. I had the second early version. Still have the photo taken in profile. It was layered on the sides ( I had a longer version shoulder length) bob at the back. So for those out there all we asked for was " can you cut my hair so it ( we used to say) flick at the sides and straight at the back?" Length could go shoulder , collar, or higher and shaved nape. They are what I had.

It was like watching Diana come alive again. It’s amazing how her look will always remain eternal, as will she. I just love what you did. You’re amazing!❤️

You are such an amazing teacher. I’ve never cut a females hair but due to Covid-19 restrictions I was the only answer to Sara’s dilemma. I gave my girlfriend the blended layer haircut using your tutorial. Everything turned out just the way you said it would. And she is more than thrilled with me and you! I was just thinking about princess Diana a couple of days ago and all her different hair styles and I love this cut. I would get my hair cut in this style if I could find someone that knows how.

I actually had this haircut back in 10th grade and imma do it again, ever since i was young i always loved dressing up very old fashioned, my parents keep calling me an old soul lol.

I thought any way Diana’s hair was styled was beautiful, though this was my favorite. I remember how desperately I wanted the style when I was a teenager & it was her style at that time. I tried many stylists, but none could replicate the look. It looked nice, just not quite there. My wedding photos a few years later reflect I was still trying to get the look when I got married. Now, over 20 years later I think it is still a gorgeous look & would love to try it again. Thank you for sharing this. It is fascinating to see just how complex this style is. My ❤️ is still in the 80’s, so can’t wait to see the looks of 80’s celebrities you have planned.

I know you did this awhile ago but I’m so happy I found this demo. I just decided to cut my hair like 90s Di after looking at a similar do my mom wore in ‘66. 😁🥰Retro but classic defined shape. Soft feminine. This gives me more info than just pics to give my hairdresser even tho she’s a pro of 20+ years. Thanks. ☺️
