Narcissist rarely change.....
Sorry, my experience says otherwise. My mom never learned to ask me right questions Nor to reflect on her actions She lost me long ago, still trying to have a grip on my relationships and people, surrounding me My ex was the same Most of our children staying in no contact with him, like me.... Even asked me not to call him "father"... And I think I'm still emotionally not enough intelligent. A few days ago I had to google word "empathy". In the end I found out a difference between pitty, emphaty, sympathy, and altruism . Funny, till that day I didn't knew what was the difference. Though, of cause, English is but third of my languages, that lately become actually fourth language. So, appears, I have a lot to learn still... at age 64 Thank you anyway

You are just too nice to people. I stopped being too nice to people and it helps.
