Can't believe Alycia Debnam-Carey is actually gone from the series. The writers have done her character a little diservice from the last few seasons but this season was very impactful for Alicia's character. It really really sucks the writers did not want to have any type of reunion with Madison or anything for Alicia to know. Our fear came true that we are getting Madison back because Alycia is leaving and that's not what we wanted. We love Kim Dicks as Madison we always have, but we wanted Madison's return for a specific reason and we're not getting it. Congrats to ADC for wanting to branch out with her career and starting a new adventure! We hope you do return to the series before the end and can have the reunion we all are waiting for! Cheers!

Could you guys please do a video about the timelines for each show (TWD, FTWD, World Beyond, Dead in the Water, etc) and include the webisodes maybe as well? Also include all of the locations that have been mentioned in all series? I think this would be very interesting and it would be great to be able to find that info (when and where) in one place. Right now I have to move around everywhere to find pieces of that info. I think major fans would really appreciate it & like a video like that. And if not, just do it for me LOL. I know most of the details but seeing it together in one place would be super helpful and interesting. Again, thanks for your time! Quoted Madison here: No one's gone until they're gone. And it's not always have to be about reunion, y'know. If it was, then look at Sherry and Dwight, finding each other from one show to another. Intentional or not, for me, their reunion could also mean endgame for their story, like they reunited and then what!?? Where will they go from there!? And more than often these "reunion" always result in "not what you expect" or not pleasent moments. So in a way, both Madison and Alicia being alive but not meeting each other yet, means that there'd be still be adventures left for both chars b4 their reunion which for me, is their endgame. (In their own industry term, their chars still has potential to being exploited/milked a bit more b4 their ends)

Just imagine a drunk Strand looking at Alicia talking alone to an imaginary younger version of herself and an imaginary bird.

How were they even able to go back to the tower like that? Surrounded by burning radiated walkers, the roof of the building was literally engulfed in flames and somehow strand is just chilling inside like nothing is happening. The episode made no sense at all to me guys, idk how AMC even approved these scripts

This is what I imagine a bad trip on acid would be like lol. It was just bad.

Your intro was everything!!!! We were all let down , they have amazing actor's performing crap stories. The first thing I thought about was how you guys said don't swap one Clark for the other Clark. I must watch Talking Dead when it airs, Alicia will be on it and I believe one of the showrunner too. And I'm itching to hear their explanations for this crap!!!

I think the show needs to get new showrunners again, I don't think theres anything we can do that will make Ian and Andrew better writers.

There was a lot of stupid in this episode, but the thing that annoyed me the most was the rest of the group continually leaving Alicia..... when we know they never would because she's someone they've been through Hell alongside. The first time was after they'd saved her from the tower and safely stretchered her to the beach. Alicia wakes up, they have a brief conversation, and then they all just leave her. June isn't administering medical care, nobody's like, "Here, you're very dehydrated, drink some water." Nobody's looking over her, nobody notices when she wonders off alone, and seemingly nobody noticed her missing or went out looking for her if they did. Later, they hear Alicia's call for help, find her outside the tower, and again stretcher her to safety. She wakes up on the way back to the beach, they stop, have a conversation, and even though they're not sure what to believe, there's this big moment where they decide that whatever it is she needs to do, they won't let her do it on her own.... but moments later Alicia says she has to do it alone and the rest of the group offer little to no resistance and are like, "Well ok, see ya." It made absolutely no consistent sense. One moment they all care so much for this woman that they won't let her chase ghosts alone, the next they leave her to head into a dangerous, burning tower block surrounded on all sides by radioactive walkers by herself??? There's no fucking way, not our characters. Then at the end, after they've again heard Alicia's call for help and stretchered her to safety for the third time, they all just leave her on the beach? They would never do that, ever. I know she was saying that she's about to die from the fever/infection and then she'd turn and pose a threat to them, but she's been saying that for months as she's lived with the infection, so why would they accept that now and leave her behind? I guess you could say that Strand was the only one who actually made the conscious decision to leave her behind because the others had already pushed off in their rafts and likely just assumed Alicia and Strand were right behind them, but on noticing that Alicia wasn't with Strand surely one or more of them would have gone back for her, no? As for Strand, there's no way he leaves her alone on that beach. This is the young woman he said he loves because she's "the closest thing he has to a daughter," the young woman he said is "the closest thing I have to family left," (quotes might not be word for word) the young woman he said he did everything for. She's also the young woman that despite all he had done, came back to save him. Would the writers really have us believe that he would leave her alone on that beach after all they've been through together? The one person other than himself that he actually cares about? Again, there's no fucking way. Putting aside the fact that someone would have gone back for Alicia, it would have made more sense for Strand to stay behind with her. They still could have had Alicia wake, her fever broken, and she could have told Strand that if he wants to redeem himself, if he wants to make amends with her, he can start by helping her save anyone that heard her radio transmission and comes to the tower and then have them walk off into the sunset together.... but of course they don't want to write Strand out of the show, so they have him leave Alicia when we know he never would. They should have found another way. Finally, since it's the last episode we'll see Alycia in (at least for now - fingers crossed), I want to say that I've always thought that they made a huge mistake in not making the character of Alicia the key focus of the show after the death (seemingly) of her Mother and Brother. She was the last surviving member of the Clark family and Fear was always their story, the conduit through which we saw the fall of civilisation and the fight for survival. I really do think they did the show and indeed Alycia Debnam-Carey a massive disservice when instead of making Alicia the main protagonist, they brought Lennie James (who I love mind you) across from TWD and made Morgan that key focus/leader. Both Alycia as an actress and the character of Alicia were strong enough to carry this show as its lead and rightfully should have in my opinion. As it was, however, I don't feel like we really saw her character grow to any great extent over the past few seasons. She was largely reduced to playing second fiddle and even throughout this season, where she was thrust into a leadership role on the back of Teddy's batshit crazy plan, we still didn't see her effectively leading a group of people. Instead we just got yet another season of her self-doubt and these dream-like moments of what should have been pivotal self-discovery, but ultimately didn't lead anywhere. It was super disappointing. Anyway, I should end this rant.... until next week when I'm sure the writers will give me a whole new list of grievances, haha.

Loved this rant lol. Yea, the group would never keep leaving her, especially with her passing out and hallucinating constantly. And why the hell did they keep letting her go off knowing her condition? Why would Alicia keep voluntarily leaving on her own when she KNOWS she just passes out at anytime and leave herself vulnerable to walkers/other people? And why the concern about her dying and turning on the raft? Even if she did die and turn, It's ONE walker, they've taken on way more in worse circumstances. PLUS they would be watching her and would know if she died, and could keep her from turning. Alicia's character had so much potential, it makes no sense they wouldn't make her the focus after her mom's death. It's embarrassing what they turned her character into. UGH. There's my mini rant

Couldn’t agree more on all points. Alicia definitely should have been the lead. The Morgan show has just become boring. They’ve marginalized Alicia since the back half of S5. I’m actually surprised ADC didn’t leave sooner with the way they treated her character.

I’ll admit, I initially kind of cringed at the notion of you guys reacting to this episode because I knew that your reaction would go the way it did 😂🤣 Honestly, I think the most entertaining part of this reaction was watching the growing frustration as the episode progressed. 🤷🏽‍♂️

I think she's dead. Her waking up and feeling fine after being close to death represents her becoming a walker. That's why she heads to the tower, because there are a lot of walkers and she's obviously attracted to the noise.

On the other hand, if you think she miraculously healed from her months-long fever on that beach at that moment, then yeah she's alive and used the last bullet on that walker, neither is outside the realm of possibility given the shit writing we've been victim to the last season or so lol

OMG I was repeating the same sentence when I see new FTWD episodes. Before I even start to watch, I'm always the same "please don't fuck this up amc...please..." LOL

I think this episode flew over so many people’s heads. Alicia is dead. She committed suicide in order to not reanimate which is what’s represented with her shooting that Rotter and using the last bullet. Her waking up fine and walking off into the smoke was her entering death just like the moment of her brother’s death when he died and woke up in that field surrounded by blue flowers.

I say it really comes down to how well Saint X does whether or not Alicia comes back. What’s going to be sad is Madison is going to be told that Nick died and Alicia is alive only to realize she’s about to face every parent’s worst nightmare: having to accept she outlived both of her children.

The Victor strand would stay in a burning tower yeah no do they even know the characters that they’re writing about

If we summarize the story of Amina, we learn that in the end "the bird miraculously heals and flies to find its own place in the world" - Alicia is Amina. So chances are her story won't stop there, even if it will take some time before we find Alicia Clark on our screens again

Hopefully we get the good ghost writers from season 6 and these show runners get canned

However I will state this again that I'd be okay if someone was in a coma and this whole scenario with the nuclear bombs was just a dream. I feel for you guys. I couldn't bring myself to watch the episode until 3 days later. I was semi dreading it. Alycia leaving shocked me. I don't blame her though

Honestly best thing what can happen to this show now is following in order: 1. sack writters...Main TWD finnished filming so appoint Angela Kang and "her team" around her. Basically whole TWD group 2. timejump 3. Kill all boring characters except Madison, Morgan, Grace, Dwight, Shery, Daniel, Strand maybe Luciana and maaaybe June 4. let Morgan take them to original TWD survivors if they survive! 5. Add few originals like Aaron, Eugene, Rosita....maybe Carol if they are still alive till then...basically from all without spinof 6. Tell new EXCITING story But honestly this feels almost impossible so i would close it after season 8

By the looks of that ending she isn't alive, it's her version of an afterlife (which sucks, they could've had her reunited with Nick). Terrible terrible ending for not only Alicia but for a landmark 100th ep.

Alicia being left alive or "missing" rather works in favor for Madison's S8 development. If ADC was leaving anyway, the story might as well get something out of it. Seeing Alicia die, and not just being told about it would've completely destroyed her, first day back. This way she has the chance to be ready to fight another day, and maybe hope to see her daughter again.

The actress who plays Alicia wanted to leave from what I’ve read online. I think the show runners needed a way to get her off the show on a break, similar to Maggie from TWD. It seems as if she died but I think she will return. They just didn’t rush her reunion with Madison but this will at least give Madison a purpose and goal. To go find her daughter and make the reunion more exciting. Next season we could find out what happened to Madison and follow her search for Alicia as well as where the group goes going forward. Maybe finally find Padre.

But thinking about this more, I can see that if they had a reunion, everyone would want them to stay together short of Alicia dying. I think Alicia actually died. That’s why she looked so healthy after she fell over. She is in the afterlife. …….either way way too many directions this show tries to go!!!!!

ya know what's different? the rawness. realness. and brutality, is long gone. escaping from daniels shop, the riots and escaping through them.. vs. strand and Alisha's best friends forever, 'luff you too'.. scene. (ugh) fake backdrops coupled with scenarios, is not cutting it. the marketplace where nick gets wasted on walker brain juice - blowing up the dam vs. crater scene with alisha and morgan. and a small struggle on the rooftop. burning down the building. interpersonal relationships coupled with the lines written, are also way off-kilter. Travis's brutal kicking of the boys that killed Chris.. vs heaving people off a roof. and zero people killing strand. ever. bizarre character devolution. gaps in all the wrong places. with weird arty filler bulls*it.. that goes nowhere. i know its apocalypse, but for f*ks sake. snap out of it showrunners. wtf will they do to madison? please writers stop dooming us to cartoonish fantasy.

Fuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu. OK seriously though, I'm still in shock that she's gone. It just seemed no way the show could survive losing her. I guess we'll have to wait and see

Overall i really loved this episode because since the rumors got started i pretty much knew that Alycia Debnam Carey wanted to leave the show. HOWEVER: it is the last scène that ruins this episode for me. Alicia finally dying on that beach having saved her whole family, including Strand would have been the perfect end for her character !. Even her looking up at the sky and seeing the bird flying over one more time made sense to me. The last scène felt like a complete cop out ☹️!

Alicia Last Episode in FTWD and Probaly Will She See Again in the Crossover

I don’t see the point of Alicia reuniting with her mother if she’s going to be leaving the show anyway. If she’s going to leave the show there is no point in reuniting her with her mother until she’s ready to come back full-time. And I would definitely not rather see her die than return later smh. But I do believe that final ending scene was a dream. But Alicia being “cured” and shooting her last bullet was meant to symbolize the fact that she is still fighting. And she feels at peace now that she saved her group.

So they rescue Alicia from the burning building, she went back and passed out, got rescued again, left to go find Strand, go back to the shore and then she left to go back to the tower. The back and forth about drove me crazy. Besides this is the same thing they did not too long ago with John Dorie and his father. Also No reunion suck

I missed you "GUYS" I can't wait to see Madison & Alicia together. The whole cast have been through so much together. I think the writing has been as good as it can "get".

lol I havent watched any Fear this season, and I wanted to see if It was going to be worth it. The first 10 secs gave me my answer!

I Still Believe Alicia Will Reunite With Madison But Probably Not To The End Of Season 8 Or Season 9 If We Get A Season 9

Also, I think the producers leave it seems "open" so the fans will still watch and wait for her return, it may happen but maybe takes long time.

This season was the worst, I'm a big defender of the show. SO ANNOYING like going back and forth to the tower and saves Strand??!! Alicia was so annoying, story sucked, she goes back and forth etc.... HORRIBLE

This season has been filled with letdowns and situations that just don't make any sense.

Can't wait to see how they mess up Madison and season 8. Maybe Madison is brain washed and doesn't remember her kids or our group. oh oh and Strand becomes good again and is like all life is precious and oh oh lets kill off Daniel and Charlie survives somehow. oh oh and how about we fix the tower and live there.😂 Also Strand becomes evil again cuz why the fuck not.

"We'll ALMOST be done with the show" I've been done with this hot mess i pop in every now and then to see if it gets any better. Usually it don't. But I do follow all twd universe shows through these great youtube channels. And I still watch the flag ship show. P.s. there will be NO rick movies. Imo

I heard Alycia wanted to leave the show to do other projects but the way they wrote her off is bullshit.

Lol so hard at the intro. C’mon how did you really think it was going to go?

And what did they do? They fucked it up.

They’re bringing back Madison and I don’t even care anymore because we’re not getting a reunion with Alicia.

I cant believe I watched this entire season of fear tbh. So utterly disappointed man.

TERRIBLE episode despite the performances. It's a slap in the face to fans to have Alycia's character exit the ep before madison's return, with not even as much as a walkie convo/interaction between the two. It was already bad enough the showrunners made it seem like madison's return was to have an effect on the back half of the season when she's literally had ZERO impact leading up to 7x16. I'm watching the finale tonight but very well may be done with this show.
