hahaha. This video is STILL around! That's super awesome. D&D and RPG's is so streamlined now, and is filled with all of these "cool" nerds. But we all remember the days when it so great to play, but not cool at all to everyone else. This video deserves more views than it got.

this video was my very first introduction to d&d. i'd never played it and didn't really know anything about it, but i thought this video (and the ones that followed) were hilarious, and i totally related to the characters being weird and awkward and totally socially inept. i loved that they had this hobby that they both liked that involved dressing up and role playing, two things i absolutely loved. they were happy when they played together, despite having no other friends and being weird as shit, and they was really fucking inspirational to me. this video is also the reason i started talking to the man who has now been my husband of ten years. ^^; i made an "I'M CHAOTIC NEUTRAL!" joke on facebook, he responded, and we started talking and eventually dating. d&d and this video specifically changed my life in an amazing way, so thank you.

I had the same experience, joined a DnD group on a whim and made some really good friends.

I remember excitedly showing some friends of mine this over a decade ago, and I was sitting there giggling the whole time, but absolutely no one else was. It was crushing because I thought the video was brilliant. I still do, and occasionally make the pilgrimage to seek out this video and relive a magical time of the internet when content like this wasn't a common mainstream thing. Love you guys, and remember, Game Master Doug is Hard, but Fair.

I watched this video 8 years ago with my friends and we laughed a lot. Put much effort into finding it (I didn't remember the exact name of course), and after 8 years it is still totally fantastic funny and good! I just love it.

I was just starting to play World of Warcraft when I first saw this video and loved it(I was 23 then). To this day I still quote some of the lines to my friends... that also love this episode! It may not have got the views it deserves but it still holds a special place in my heart! Never get rid of this!

I watch this video like yearly for the past decade. I love it so much.

It just dawned on me that they were complaining about being picked on by big jocks in high school, while they were imagining being vampires from clan Brujah. At the time of the video's creation, the tabletop RPG Vampire the Masquerade portrayed vampires from that clan as physically large, strong vampires; often it was suggested that many of those kinds of vampires were brutes that bullied others with their size and strength. Kind of ironic.

I remember finding this back on Ebaums world back in like.... 2005.... I always forget how many sayings I stole from this and have continued to use.

All these years later, I still come back to this video. I love how it's clearly not making fun of "nerds," it's got so much good natured fun at the silly things that come along with the hobby, and the references to D&D and other nerdy interests that it's clear that the people behind it were poking fun at themselves as much as anyone

I would KILL for a full series of videos of game sessions with just doug and raymond and from time to time dougs brother and raymonds mom. I love this series because I grewup after the era where nerds were actually like this and I knew nerds that were older brother figures to me that me and one of my older brother figures who wasnt like this joked about how similar they were to these guys. Its entertaining because in the modern era its actually acceptable for nerds like these guys to be around, especially with the culture of conventions like GenCon in my home state people can be more connected and express their true talents through those outlets thats what makes this show so funny and great because legitimately it looks like doug and raymond are having fun.

I'm shocked this video hasn't gotten more views. its really fun to watch!
