@@robbietox no he doesn’t have unique dialogue with nemesis. The only one who had unique dialogue with him is byleth where nemesis talks about the crest of flames. The only unique dialogue he has is for when he fights reigan, where he tries to talk, to no response

honestly, you just can't help but fall more and more in love with the guy as you play through the GD route even though he was a pain to court for my Female byleth

The Battle of Grondor Field was so poorly handled. Like, Mr. "Laser Focused Rage" Dimitri is, for some reason, going to wheel around into my flank if I attack the Empire? Really? They forced it to be a three-way fight when it made no sense. Dimitri would charge Edelgard without caring about Claude and Claude wouldn't have seen the need to attack Dimitri since the entire reason for him being there was to get to Enbarr and save Rhea.

@@luminozero if you play Azure Moon, you learn that the Kingdom sent a messenger to the Alliance asking if they would like to join forces. But the Empire intercepted the messenger and killed him. The Kingdom found the body and thought that the Alliance killed him as a way of rejecting the Kingdom’s request. So the Kingdom felt they had no choice but to fight both parties. As for the Alliance, they wanted to join forces but didn’t know if they could trust the Kingdom since they never received that messenger. Claude even says during the battle “It doesn’t look like the Kingdom wants to join forces. Guess we’ll just have to fight anyone that isn’t an ally.” See, if you play all the routes, the plot holes start to fill up. It’s still a bit messy but you can start to see it fit together.

If Claude was telling the truth then it's 7 generations over nearly 1100 years (each generation is over 150 years long). If we use Earth standards, then it's between 44 and 35 generations.

I think the quotes are pretty cool with Claude and Dimitri. The running theme that Claude cant shake him was light hearted attempt to throw him off at first, but at the very end, Dimiti's ability to not be swayed is what ended up being his downfall.

Sometimes I imagine if Hubert, Dedue and Hilda were recruitable in other routes. Like Claude and Hubert quipping each other and making schemes together. Dimitri trying to deal with Hilda and her laziness. Edelgard and Dedue being too quiet. Claude trying to make Dedue laugh. Dimitri scolding Hubert for his dark thoughts. Edelgard trying to figure out Hilda.

Hilda actually is recruitable in Blue lions. But the other two aren’t recruitable. So at least one of those you mentioned can happen.

I love Claude and the Golden Deer, but I wish our story was more involved with Dimitri and Edelgard’s. With GD being my first play through, I had no idea of Dimitri and Edelgard being step siblings and their friendship. Dimitri died needlessly, and even though Claude discovers TWSITD, he doesn’t find out what they did to Edelgard, which would kinda make the mission to defeat them more personal if he knew. I love this game a lot, I just wish there was more interaction between the house leaders, and a story route that has all of them trying to defeat the Illuminati

The thing with Golden Deer is that you are an outsider of this whole drama and you are not taking sides. You dont know why Dimitri is crazy or why Edelgard is the way she is. All you know is that you have to reach for the truth yourself without any bias and somehow end up knowing more about Foldan than the other two routes.

Honestly I just chalked it up to each route having different information and needing to play all to have the full story. I think I accidentally went the best way by doing be, BL, then GD. I saw the truth edelgard saw without Dimitri going crazy then saw Dimitri go crazy and then the whole truth of fodlan.

I think that's pretty fair. Gets you curious enough to replay the game again & try out different routes. I'd probably never replay the game if GD & BL went the same way with the same repeating information. It has some realistic aspect as well. If you're not involved with someone's life you won't know the truth of it. I would appreciate some supports of the house leaders together tho

I saw someone mention the unique dialogue in Shamir's battle and with the risen form of the Elite Riegan that was missed but I thought I'd add Claude's conversation with Acheron during Lorenz' paralogue. It's funny how there's a mini plot between them that basically goes like "you think you're too cool to know who I am, I'll burn your house down!"

Nobles take for granted things that commoners could only dream of. I'd say that Nobility is an easier life, most of the time. Claude's only saying it like this because, as he stated in his C-support; "I was born into nobility, but I wasn't exactly spoiled either."

There's one you missed between him and "Riegan" in the final chapter.

Edelgard getting scared about a rat was cute.

She knows more than Claude at this point, as he only finds out when Rhea's on her deathbed a month after the fall of Enbarr. The only thing Edelgard's story (from Wilhelm, her ancestor, and the 1st emperor) is missing is the events of Zanado.

@@lolas.7024 1; What about Wilhelm’s information is inaccurate? 2; In Chapter 4, a short dialogue shows that she isn’t buying what TWSITD are telling her. 3; Edelgard likely isn’t even referring to Fodlan’s history, just its systemic problems, which are shown time and time again by the backstories of this game’s characters. “Without sufficient knowledge of this land’s suffering, I can’t entrust Fodlan to you!”

It's been passed through Edelgard's family that Nemesis was some kind of Hero-King that was killed by Seiros so that she could be the one ruling over humanity instead. She also knows the relic weapons were man-made and not gifts from the Goddess, but doesn't understand the true implications of that. Everything she's been taught about the "truth" about the Church, even if not from TWSITH themselves, was still fabricated and created by them regardless. @@moonmelons No. Edelgard was simply stating that Nemesis was never corrupted, and he and Rhea were always in conflict. The translation team just messed up there. Also, "true implications", what are you trying to say with that? There's nothing in the game ot suggest that her perspective was "fabricated and created by TWSITD" at all. In fact, she openly denies something that Thales tells her about Nemesis. Edelgard hates the church because she was told as a child, by the church, that the goddess "protects all that is good and beautiful in this world", and yet, she and her siblings were not saved, so the archbishop lied to countless people about the religion she made up. The church also created the system that destroyed her life, and countless others.

It's available in new game+ after finishing a route and starting in a new one. You go into the professor's room and open up their journal and the options should be there.
