It was part of a civil settlement. It was never the role of the FDA to prescribe. Its authority is to approve or decline to approve drugs, and to inform. They are allowed to discuss pros and cons of any drug and provide safety data, including ivermectin, but not to prescribe or coerce those with authority to prescribe.

Ivermectin is known to be well tolerated at even high doses and has few interactions with other meds. The denial of Ivermectin should have been quite rare. Instead, ideology took hold of decisions.

Not only for early treatment. I had this severe persisting cold for 5 months and got cured with ivermectine, the same day I took 3 tbs 3mg it stopped the infection. A few days later the same amount got me cured completely. Ivermectine is a wonderful drug!

Yep, it has. I thank God I work for myself, never had to take any of that garbage they forced so many to take or lose their job/career. And I never stopped working during the lockdowns either, very rarely wore a mask and never got sick. I ran into a guy in 2021 in a grocery store who is heavily invested in pharmaceutical companies, he told me that vaccines don't take 5 years to go through clinical trials to work out the bad side effects like so many people think, each one takes 10 years to go through that. Look up the word Virus in the Merck Manual. Viruses are the tiniest parasites. So, of course Ivermectin worked against C-19. They have known this forever. I retired as a charge RN after 22 years in 2014. I knew a covid type event would come. I was surprised it took until 2019 to be perpetrated. I did not fall for any of the mainstream narrative. But us nurses who spoke out were demonized. I believe another C-19 event may be unleashed on April 8th. Nothing about this hyped up eclipse is accurate.

Will never forget when my college age son was in the emergency room for an appendicitis and he was asked if he was vaccinated and he replied "no" (he got himself a religious exemption from his university) and said he was using ivermectin for prophylaxis, the nurse started making mooing sounds and she said "what are you, a cow?". Despicable!!! And now it's helping some with cancer. Dr. Been, you and a few other docs are the reason my family and I felt comfortable not getting the vax, thank you from the bottom of our hearts! In regards to my son, he made his best friends in the required covid testing line every Monday at 7 a.m. at the furthest point on campus, for those that didn't get the mandated vax, its nice to be around likeminded people!

Well here in Australia during the "roll out" IVM was not only banned from off label use but doctors were banned from prescribing it as a treatment for on label use for parasites and the rest. If you wanted IVM for ANY use your doctor needed to refer you to a medical panel that would review your request.

I appreciate your optimism. I don’t think they will. I know so many people getting very ill with cancers and the like, and only my mom (who, poor thing gets to deal with my red-pill rants on the regular) has had the wherewithal to ask if I think it’s related. Everyone else seems to prefer to pretend that they weren’t duped.

(At least he’s gone from getting furious when I bring up the subject to remaining quietly angry at me now) maybe that’s a start. But seriously, I would have expected to see at least one or a few apologies on Facebook from friends who were acting like angry belligerent tyrants wanting the world to be force vaccinated or to die a painful Covid death once it was confirmed in the mainstream that the shots didn’t stop people from getting or transmitting Covid. I’m still mad at these people.

@@lauram1235 Thank you for sharing with me. You must have, and probably still feel, so isolated. I agree, I am also angry at the one’s that othered and pushed. I never took exception to anyone doing their due diligence and exercising their freedom of choice. I firmly believe, and will always believe, that bodily autonomy is an inalienable right, and informed consent (not consent under duress) should never be violated. So what is wrong with the people who as you aptly described that were just vile in their vitriol towards those of us who were not willing to be subjected to an experimental medical protocol? I haven’t had any apologies either. I am not sure those that went so far into blindly accepting the narrative will be able to look in the mirror and take responsibility for their truly atrocious behaviour. I don’t think I would want to admit to myself that not only was a fooled, but I was an active agent in such unethical conduct. Fascinating times.

Good news to an extent but wish there had been accountability over lives lost due to the censorship of the drug.

Nothing the government publishes should ever be deleted, only ~disclaimed~, at most. Accountability, and incentive not to behave foolishly, and in a reckless manner.

Much more needs to be done and many need to be charged with what they have done.

My husband had white lung- that nasty coughing and lung congestion that lasts for weeks. He tried everything. Took ivermectin and it was gone almost overnight ❤ we will always have it stocked. ❤

Family member served as an internal medicine MD for a certain state's dept of Corrections, and told me he could not prescribe the stuff without risking his job & potentially his license. This outcome is too little too late as always.

pharmacies were refusing to fill prescriptions written by doctors as well - it was a well coordinated effort!

Yes I want justice for my husband who died from Covid in the hospital. We both had a prescription but hospital would not allow him to take it. I got better but he died!!

I am so sorry. That was so wrong.

I waited in the drive through line at Walgreens for my RX of this from my physician. The pharmacy staff didn't want to fill it. They were trying not to let the other customers in line know this was happening... so they tried to get me to wait inside the building so they could explain why they would not give me my doctor's duly prescribed medicine. I declined to come inside and said you'll fill it and I'm waiting right here in line - in front of all these other people who are waiting for you to get to them. They made me wait more ... and we repeated the arguments... and then they finally filled it! It was about $150 I believe - for a few pills that should costs pennies. My doctor and his colleagues i his group, were then prevented from writing 'scripts for it for anyone else by his group after that. How people many were not as capable of getting what they were prescribed? How many people couldn't even get the 'script written at all? How many people begged for their loved ones to be given this potentially life saving treatment but were outright denied?

Ventilators and Remdesivir weren't exactly successful, but that's where the (huge) reimbursement was!!

Sounds like a good idea, but if its too big, the DOJ will just dismiss it. We have to vote everyone out in congress who is not speaking up about this. Rand Paul loves to beat up fauci but won't talk about the harm that its caused.

Kudos to Judge Willett for rendering his judgement WITH Prejudice, which means it's final! This is a step in the right direction, however, I agree with others in that there needs to be repercussions against the FDA for their abuse of power.

I am so proud of these Doctors who stood up against the FDA overstepping their authority. Now that we have a non- mNRA choice, lets push the hell out of it! FREEDOM OF CHOICE, RECOGNIZE NATURAL IMMUNITY.

How about the individuals ... those who actually decided this. They should not be able to go free!

The Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals consistently rules against government overreach. It is one of the few courts that uses the Constitution and common sense as the basis for their rulings. Perhaps it is because the court leans conservative. The FDA should have to make an official announcement about removing their misleading posts about Ivermectin.

It is not enough that some of us ignored the FDA. Many people believed them and needlessly suffered.

A little too late. I was offered ivermectin when I was struggling with post covid reactivated Epstein Barr and was too scared to take it. I would have healed if I hadn’t been scared by the FDA’s insistence that it was dangerous. I’m still struggling with this reactivation now. Not right.

Why did most doctors go (and still are going) along with this? Those that did/are , IMO, are even more guilty because they did not 'first, do no harm' to their patients.

I was lucky…my Dr prescribed me Ivermectin…just in case. I have not had the jab or covid.

Silently removing (inaccurate) social media posts without a public apology is probably more sinister than allowing them to spout their "opinion" (not fact or evidence) on social media in the first place. WHY are US bureaucracy's even on social media? Make that illegal.

You might want to tell Dr Susan Oliver from the YT Channel Back to the Science that Ivermectin and Zinc was and still is a viable and excellent treatment. She just screams Anti-Vaxxer at everyone instead!

Now it is time for all those culpable for millions of deaths, because early treatment was denied. Nuremberg trials now! Withdrawing their posts is a poor excuse for justice. Medical Corporations threatened physicians with losing their licenses or being fired if they Rx. Ivermectin. CVS refused to refill my Ivermectin Rx. By a FLCCC doctor in October 2021. I contracted Omicron in December 2021. I now have out of control hypertension, microclotting and tachycardia out of no where. I threw a pulmonary microclotting embolism in February 2022. I survived. But I continue to struggle with the cardiovascular outcome of no Ivermectin treatment. There is no justice for the dead or the injured.

My insurance refused to honor my doctor's prescription. If that's based on FDA misinformation, maybe there's room for a class-action suit.

Why did the Dr accept the settlement offer instead of having a legal verdict? A verdict against FDA could have meant that everyone that was denied the alternative choice could have standing to sue. FDA would appeal. A verdict against the DR could be appealed. In either case this should have gone all the way to SCOTUS for a permanent ruling. A settlement doesn't seem like a win for either side at all. It's just kicking the can down the road. Lame.
