If you want dripping wet looking clear coat you gonna need 2x if not 3x the amount of cans you though you needed. Clear is supposed to go on wet and thick, and more than 1 coat forsure especially candy paint can have up 10 coats of clear

i love your videos but man instead of beating it in with a hammer you should try a 3x rivet gun with a flush die and a backer (bucking die or body dolly) so its more flat and will give you a cleaner finish
