Why has Mitoma been only 80? At least he should be 82. Generally, Japanese players tend to be underrated although some of them are as good as or better than Europeans. For example, Mitoma (FC24 rating 80), Kubo (80), Kamada (81), Tomiyasu (78), Endo (80), Minamino (74), Ito (78), Morita (78) and so on.

I understand if a player was say 80 the year before they are only going to go up a few numbers regardless of how exceptional they were the following season, but to have Mitoma at 80 after last season and what were seeing again so far this season feels so wrong...
