I finally got my Von Trier set last week. The thing is MIND BLOWING. He is my favorite filmmaker, so I especially love that his work got this treatment.

The Wicker Man is probably my favorite this year. Not picked up that LvT box yet but thinking about it.

2023 has treated us collectors well. So many boxsets that I’m glad I pulled the trigger on but my favorite has to be Blood and Black Lace from Arrow Video. One of my all time favorites and they knocked it out of the park with newly commissioned artwork. That Wicker Man boxset is so nice, I opted for the steelbook from Studiocanal. Hands down best looking steelbook in my collection 😮‍💨 Great list! Love watching everyone’s end of year videos.

I agreed with every one of you picks that I have and drooled over the ones I don't. 😂😂 For those who keep insisting physical media is dying, I'd like to introduce them to your closet and this video. The only thing dying is our credit cards. 😂 2023 was a fantastic year for physical media and you really did share some of the top tier releases. Sorry to hear 2023 was not such a great year for you personally - I can empathise! Hope you have an improved 2024, and thanks for your videos man! This encouraged me to order a bunch of the (Rollin and non-Rollin) Indicator 4K discs to check out. For me, the Radiance Commedia all’italiana box set might be my top box set of the year, but the Cosa Nostra one was great too. Still to catch up with The End of Civilization and World Noir Vol. 1 sets, though.

Other than Picasso, Dalí or Bosch. ; ) Great showcase! Thanks for sharing!

You did a very Great presentation off all your 2023 boxsets, Glad that you had The Bruce Lee boxset. It took me weeks to get trough, it`s just awesome. I also got the Pyscho boxset, and it follows. With The Columbia vol.3 boxset, they did a great job with a book and 4k movies not available unless you get this 4k boxset , and then, the talk to me "with the arm boxset" was very cool indeed. Hope 2024 we be just as great for us physical media collectors. Happy New year sir !!

It is crazy the lot of good physical media releases in 2023! Not enough money to pick up all, therefore, it is necessary to be selective! Arrow Bruce Lee and Psycho box sets are fantastic! Criterion Pasolini 101 box set is full art and intelectual cinema ! I started Radiance collection picked up Red Sun and I would like to order soon the Cosa Nostra Box Set. Second Sight TCM and Martin releases deserves to be on the top. INDICATOR released two Mexican cinema box sets and I picked up ENTER SANTO : THE FIRST ADVENTURES OF THE SILVER-MASKED MAN which is a lot of fun!

I am getting more and more selective myself. I more or less just picked up boxsets this past year, not much else. Great pickups yourself, Juan! Glad you mentioned Santo as well, I've got it on the shelf unwatched at the moment 😅

I agree with you with Messiah Of Evil & that Cosa Nostra set! Awesome discoveries thanks to Radiance! Also agree with It Follows, Picnic At Hanging Rock & Texas Chain Saw Massacre from Second Sight Films! I did not get The Wicker Man set from Studio Canal as I already have the set from Imprint, BUT I did find the standard 4K/Blu-Ray! Loved that Mexico Macabre set too! I'd also include: ALL SIX Shaw Brothers sets from Shout Factory Cushing's Curiosities from Severin Mean Streets & After Hours from Criterion Odyssey Film Vault Set (Beautiful)! Wish I could've snagged Goodfellas & Casino too! LOVED that Three Colors set from Curzon too! I would've loved to pick up that Hellraiser set but was hoping for it to be a 4K Blu-Ray combo. Oh well! I'll hopefully get a 4K player someday! LOL!

I'll admit that I've not seen much but I will say that they are a mixed bag in terms of quality. I'd recommend looking into each individual film and seeing what is worth checking out. Sorry I don't have more on this, I plan on watching more this year 🙏
