Love your Fav Five series because I always meet a new designer, and usually want to knit at least one item. Thank you for including size inclusive patterns in your selections. Knitter's come in all shapes and sizes. 💞

I agree! I love always find some new designers that don’t tend to come up in the top of my Ravelry searches in these Fave Five videos. I also appreciate the consideration for those with accessibility issues.

The Ravelry algorithm heavily favors and promotes the "popular" designers. I deliberately choose designers who might not get much love from the search engine.

Ponchos, of course! Great idea to combine with the wheelchair theme. I didn't have time until now to watch the Live, but since you mentioned the discussion here I went over to the video to see that side, too. It was really interesting and I learned some things as well, since I'm pretty new to using a wheelchair. In terms of learning, all the lace I get to see on your channel reminds me I neet to learn how to knit from charts. Not that it is an absolute necessity, but it's always nice to learn new stuff. The Amaliya Capelet with the matching hat and mittens is so cute! Reminds me of something.. I guess in a mossy green it would fit right in with the landscapes of Ireland. In Autumn Beauty catched my eye the most this time. Would be a great project for leftover yarns. It's a shame that only a few people knitted it until now. The Hearts in Chains looks like a modern celtic pattern, really nice. I guess the sides could be made a similar length to another if the rectangle is knitted slimmer (less rows of plain knitting) and with two or three more hearts in length? Wow - not-your-grandma's-poncho! LOL. I got a couple of poncho patterns when I first accelerated my knitting (like Michael's store-yarn free pull-one-off patterns and about 20 years ago). Whole new poncho world now - and it's much nicer! Thanks for the mini-tour. And, it gave me some ideas for questions for the next live stream I can make (whenever that is - I keep having conflicts!)

Gorgeous selection, thank you Barbara. I have a suggestion. Cardigans for the fuller bust. Total thinking of myself, but as a lady (? 😂) with a fuller but I struggle to find a pattern that isn't just a box shape. I might as well knit a poncho or capelet. Take care and keep safe. xxJane
