When I was a music major in college, I earned some credits towards my degree by accompanying voice majors during their lessons. This was one of the songs I was required to play. I didn't think it was difficult to play but the tenor singer who was trying to learn this song never would practice and he had a lot of trouble pronouncing the French words correctly as well. This did cause some trouble when I tried to accompany him.

I enjoy y'alls music very much. The cello is my fav instrument. I played bassoon in band. I'm 59. Do you think it's to late to learn to play cello? Any advice on where to get an inexpensive one for a beginner?
